Lovely staff, amazing food, reasonably priced, good beer, brilliant place. We popped in for a quick drink in the afternoon, came back for some tea as it was such a friendly place and really glad we stumbled upon it as it was thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely recommend for a meal out

Popped into this lovely pub in Polperro and had a very tasty Steak and Ale Pie which had been made fresh that very morning by the pub chef ..... very, very tasty and the best we've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, very reasonably priced and great friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you're in Polperro.

Haven't been Polperro since I was a kid but went there for an 80s night tonight and had the best time ever. Loved the 80s nostalgia and fancy dress. Great atmosphere, great friendly people and great music. Would recommend the pub for a great night out! Will also come back and have a meal soon. Nikki, St Budeaux, Plymouth.

Top notch traditional no nonsense pub grub served on plates, not miniature shopping trollies, bits of slate or chopping boards or any other hipster rubbish.

A decent pub in Polperro for family-friendly food. We actually got seated at the Blue Peter but the menu was just too limited and to be honest, a bit on the expensive side for what we saw of the food so we went walk-about and instead hedged our bets on this place. We enjoyed the beer garden which does have some shady areas depending on the time of day. The kids pizza 🍕 was great, if a bit much for my almost 4yr old, our pizza was good for a basic pizza but I do think they could be a little more adventurous with their choice of toppings to make them a little more flavoursome/exciting. We added a selection of light-bites to go with it which were ok. The staff/waitress were all very friendly and food was served quickly.

Had lunch here on a visit to Polperro. Good pint of beer and a great meal - best bowl of mussels have eaten in a long while! Staff very friendly - even bought round doggy treats for the numerous canine visitors. Will certainly come back next time we are in the area.

Really nice friendly pub located in the heart of Polperro. Great beer garden on the River too! Good selection of drinks and snacks and a good pub grub menu. Would recommend the blue cheese burger and prawn sandwich! Staff were really friendly and welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there. If I lived it Polperro it would be my local!

We visited for dinner mid week in August. 2 adults and 2 children. All the staff were really welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing, cooked fresh and homemade, we all had different meals and all were fantastic quailty and taste. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely love to eat here again.

Sea Fury beer and Cod burger. The pub is very welcoming although not all is wheelchair accessible. The food was served hot and very tasty cooked fresh. Fish sourced locally from Martin I believe. Staff are friendly and proper local. Totally recommend going in.

We had a fabulous Sunday beef roast, and it was delicious, we did have to book, and I would strongly recommend you do so as seats-tables get used up within minutes of being open.. That's the recommendation of the quality of their food. Staff fantastic

Nice pub, located in the heart of Polperro. Outdoor and indoor tables. They’ve got live music few days a week. We ordered tapas-style food. The chorizo is delicious. Quick service and welcoming staff.

We only popped in for a quick drink while passing. Interestingly, it is the only pub in the Polperro Quay area that you can go in for a drink and also sit outside, unless there is another tucked away in a side street. The menu looks good and we may try it later on.
