We ate at the Noughts and Crosses tonight. Lovely fresh seabass, served quickly, nice and hot and reasonably priced wine. Tom the waiter/ barman was lovely and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. All in all thoroughly enjoyed.
The best roast dinner I've ever had! Very welcoming staff and a good atmosphere. The food was amazing - a variety of vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and tender roast beef.
We ate here last night. Fabulous food. We had scallops and catch of the day. Absolutely great tasty food and well presented. Staff very friendly and musical entertainment was good too. Definitely go here again
Had Sunday lunch which was absolutely fabulous. The staff are attentive and friendly and made the whole experience a real pleasure. The beef pot roast with roast potatoes and vegetables was lovely. Will definitely be going back when we are next in Polperro.
Sunday lunch was excellent, but dont visit if time is an issue. Only one person taking orders and running the bar and one other person wandering around chatting to customers but doing little else. A couple did arrive wait to be served for fifteen minutes and then walked out. Such a shame as food is
Just had a fab dinner there. Scallops to start were plump and juicy, not over cooked at all like others. Followed by the steak and Stilton pie. We went on the the recommendation of a local, glad we did, quirky little place tucked away, friendly staff and owner was very accommodating, the food was amazing and the Sunday roast looked good but we had not booked so will have to return to sample. Highly recommend

Nice place for a pint whilst waiting for a table at the three pilchards , watching the river run through down to the harbour from the window. Serves food, but not on the day we were there, staff all nursing hangovers following the football. Staff friendly and relaxed.
