Been here twice and both times i've left with only positive things to say. went last night for my 21st birthday. food is absolutely amazing. service is professional. staff are friendly and they all worked hard to make my birthday a special one. with staff giving a birthday performance and giving me a small bottle of prosecco. the little things make it worth going back. then had a birthday cake brought out and even had a small gift from the girls in kitchen of Happy Birthday written on a plate in chocolate. I haven't got a bad word to say about this place. The food looks like something from an expensive fancy restaurant. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone!

We booked a table for 10 people for a Saturday night.
There was a good selection of dishes on the menu all the food we had was great, steaks, chicken and fish dishes. Nice selection of desserts and these were also very nice.
The staff were very helpful and provided very good service.
This restaurant obviously has a good reputation as the place was full all night.
A fabulous time was had by all for my twin nephews 21st birthday food was superb atmosphere second too none the 3 amigos done their turn can't recommend highly enough
Had an excellent meal on Saturday afternoon, food piping hot staff friendly and always on hand to your request. Not many places give such variety of menu and good value
Arrived here today for a meal with a bunch of friends, to celebrate a friends passing and had a fantastic time.
Never been here before and didn't know what to expect. I needn't have worried, it was great. Great food, great beer, great staff and a great price. We are definitely coming back.
Came to the pub a week ago with family visiting from Canada, food was lovely , service was great and everyone was more than accommodating for our large dog in the bar and we had a new born along with the youngsters with us and the staff were lovely with them
If you're looking for fab decor you're not going to get it........BUT ....the owner and staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating ( my mum is disabled). The food was FANTASTIC and great value for money, plenty of choice on the menu. And if your a log fire fan......� We'll be back many times for sure. A lovely country pub.
Working in the area for a while now. When you have been in the mud and rain all day at work , it's nice to come into an open fire with good home cooked food and nice bar staff. I will live longer because of this fine place.
Visited The Old White Horse Inn last night for my birthday meal with my sons and girlfriends. We all had a lovely meal. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely go again. Had hunters chicken , would recommend.

We went yesterday christmas day we have been many times before and this time with seven of use was excelent as it allwas is.it was the best christmas dinner out ever for use staff so nice nothing was any trouble we are allready talking of making our next booking

Just had a great lunch here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really cosy place with the fire going. Food was really tasty, especially the chips. They even had a dog menu for the pooches.

A pub you must go to. The food is excellent, the staff is very nice and friendly. Good music from the 80's when we were there and very nice atmosphère, à typical UK pub. A big thank to the owner who allowed us to stay over night on the pub's parking with our van and offered to use the bathroom the next morning ! Thank you so much. Will definitly go back there if I have the oportunity. 💖💖

Pet friendly and highlight was that they have a proper pub food menu for pets and even provided a towel for the dog!

We came here for a meal before family members had to travel back home and it was also a family members birthday, we hadn't booked as it was a last minute decision. 11 of us in total and when we arrived the staff couldn't have been anymore welcoming, offering us to sit either in the restaurant or the bar area, we chose the bar area as there was a nice fire. Drinks order was taken right away while we decided on food.
The menu had a very good selection of meals from classics to grill to a lunch menu. I had the mixed grill and it was cooked to perfection, others had the scampi which looked delicious and the pie of the day was a steak and mushroom pie. They even managed to knock up a Hawaiian pizza for one of the younger ones despite it not being on the menu. The desserts were delicious and the cheesecake was homemade.
The staff were amazing, such a friendly bunch of people, and because it was a birthday, they played happy birthday (loud enough for everyone to hear) and they all sang happy birthday (just as loud) while giving a bottle of prosecco and dessert! The two waitresses who were serving us even stopped to say goodbye after they finished their shift.
There was a also a menu for dogs with steak chicken or sausages to choose from.
Nice decor throughout and a very nice place to be.
I would strongly recommend The Old White Horse Inn to anyone who wants good service and good food, we will definitely be coming back again.
A hidden gem. Fantastic food with great service. A really welcoming and friendly place suitable for families.
Dont be put off by the look of this pub. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate a walking group of 10 at short notice. The food was excellent. Will choose this pub from now on over the one up the road. Thank you again.
Excellent selection on the menu and the mix grill was done incredibly well.
Also very dog friendly with blankets and biscuits available!
If I'm ever in the area again I'll be popping back.
