We loved this pub, we stopped in after doing the mountain railway ride and found the food very nice, the pub has lots of character and good parking.

Great little pub with a cosy atmosphere. We only had a quick drink whilst passing on our bike ride but felt like the kind of place I would visit more regularly if I lived closer

Found this lovely pub, stopped for food, served until 7.30 p.m. I had hunters chicken, chips and salad, cost about £13,hubby had steak, salad, chips cost £23, Was lovely, the only thing that let it down was not enough chips for us. Staff was lush, and the place was beautiful and cwchy pub, will deffo go again.

We were camping near by and arranged to meet family for a long overdue reunion. We were welcomed with a smile, we hadn't booked, however the staff reserved a corner table for us. The food was good old pub grub that was enjoyed by us all. So much so we arranged to come back and do it all again a week later. The curry was a huge hit and my burger was one of the best ever. We live in Scotland and are already planning to come back again to meet family here. Service was fabulous. Prices of food and drink was very reasonable. The staff and landlady were so friendly. Thank you all.

We visited recently as a half way point to see a friend whilst we were staying in the Brecon area. We assumed we'd just have chips as we are vegan and chose this pub based on the pictures of their chips on reviews here, but to our surprise they had vegan shepherds pie as well, and it was proper hearty pub food - not just a heap of veg. Also, the chips were some of the best chips I've ever had! Like really good and well cooked fish shop chips. Not to mention that we accidentally ordered at the very last moment so we're very thankful for the service and to be "those" people. Beware though, signal is not great here and their WiFi struggles as well, so make sure you know where you're going after if you're using a sat nav. I got signal a little way up the road, eventually

We were 4 families and had an excellent dinner. We were very well looked after by all especially Rhys who gave us brilliant bar service and lots of local tips to see and do things. Highly recommend.
