Brilliant evening beautiful Bangladesh meal. The staff are very helpful, polite and welcoming. Very friendly pricing. Alcohol is bring your own. Can't wait for my next visit. Highly recommend a visit.

Had a pathia, madras hot. Beautiful! Was hotter than a usual madras but just on my limit which was good. Very nice and i say that when usually I eat my curries in Birmingham and don’t leave reviews or a tip. These guys got 10%!

Went on a Monday so was very quiet here. The staff were friendly enough but the menus were very dated and falling apart.
We had the Mega Deal which is poppadoms, any starter/main/rice/side/naan for £16. This was actually a really good deal and the food was very nice.
It’s bring your own booze though so be sure to bring your own chilled drinks if you want some alcohol.
Will likely go back on future, didn’t really have any issues.

V good food and really delicious food. The portions are generous. The price is very well thought of. A decent meal for 15 pounds. No questions and no frills. I eat here twice a week and found nothing wrong

Always good quality food - whether eating in or takeaway. Good value if you use one of the deals. Service can be a little slow when I've eaten in before when it wasn't overly busy there. Certainly best Indian in the area compared to others.

Very good Indian restaurant/takeaway at the top of the road going into Pontyclun. Their menu is excellent wide ranging to suit all tastes from meat eaters to vegetarian.
We have had the onion bajhais which are georgeous with roti what more can you ask for!! In addition the chicken sag again lovely in taste and flavour.
As to the vegetarian side recently we had the vegetarian set meal which can feed 3 people no problem I can tell you!
Check out the menu there is something for you.
Staff are very pleasant and polite and price wise good value same as others in the area.
We now use this curry house as our regular!!

Amazing place, me and my boyfriend come here all the time and have never been disappointed. The design is lovely and really modern, the staff are always really friendly and cannot do enough to please but most importantly the food is great, really tasty and a good price. Would definitely recommend coming here, been to many Indian restaurants but this is by far the best!

We had a lovely family meal which was great value for money . They do offers Sunday to Tuesday plenty of food couldn't finish it. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Well worth a visit.

Me & my hubby have been coming to this restaurant from when it opened & I'm disappointed to say but the quality & service has rapidly gone down hill.
Sat in the restaurant a few times & felt like I was being rushed to leave, could not relax & enjoy our evening out as every time we so much as put our fork down a member of staff would run over to ask if everything was ok.
& secondly, I've ordered a few meals to takeaway over the last few months & the chicken has been so tough & dry it's been a struggle to eat. However last night was the last straw after finding not one but 3 grey/white hairs in my curry!!! Sadly we will not be returning & I intend to look elsewhere for a decent Indian restaurant. Now I understand why the restaurant has only scored a level 2 hygiene rating. �

The Palm Tree used to be a decent establishment. However of late, the standard of service has dropped dramatically.
I find the staff lack basic customer service skills. On our last collection visit they had forgot to include my side order. I called when I realised only to be told that I didn't order it!!!! Well, the side order was part of a set meal that I purchased (naan bread) so a good effort with that excuse.
When I advised that the side order should of come with the set meal he then went on to say it wasn't his problem.......
This is just one of many problems I've had with this resuraunt lately which include rude staff, cold food and deliveries taking an hour later than expected.

We regularly order take away from here and travel from bridgend to collect it as it's the best around! Ate in last night and really enjoyed it. Big portions, reasonable prices, hot and tasty food. The madras is HOT! Great Indian food.

Terrible takeaway!!! The meat is rock solid as if it's been recooked over and over. One nann bread missing, the other one burnt on one end and soaking wet the other end !! Cold chips that again look like they've been recooked. Won't be coming back !!!

Awful service this evening. We ordered a take away at 5.50pm and 2 hours later it still hadn't arrived. We called them and were told we'd receive an update via phonecall...we did not receive a phonecall! 30 minutes later still no news so we called them again only to hear a different story from a different member of staff. It is now 8.30 pm and we are still trying to get a refund!
I don't usually write reviews but the customer service is so dreadful this evening and we have been loyal customers for years! Really sad to say that we'll never order from The Palm Tree again.

Wrong order yet again!!! Please employ someone who takes phone orders who understands ENGLISH it is not very nice when you get a meal you have paid good money for but is not what you ordered. Will not use again.
