Review The Cornish Oven - Pool

Oghenehero John Bishop
Everyone enjoys a Cornish pasty and to be honest, no one else does it like The Cornish Oven. The staff are extremely friendly and you can always rely on them to get the very best pasty money can buy. There are other branches/outlets littered all over Cornwall especially in the Camborne Redruth axis where the head office is located.

Flakey pastry pasties are a must-have if I'm working down that way. Second best only to mothers! ( better say that in case she reads this)

When we are down in the Camborne and Redruth area one of the best places for a pasty is the Cornish oven, the pasties are a good size and a great price, they have a good range of other food like salads, sausage rolls ect and some lovely sweets.

We were recommended to come here for Cornish pasties and have to say that we weren't disappointed. Great pastry and the filling was not piled in the middle and was full of flavour.

Dropped in for breakfast while my son took his driving test next door. Splendidly unhealthy bacon and cheese pastry really hit the spot. Coffee nothing to rave about but I'm fussy. Lovely staff. Good value for money. Son failed for speeding in a 20mph zone but passed another test six weeks later so all good.

I bought two boxes of frozen pastyโ€™s the Monday before Christmas. Excellent service, friendly staff. Thank you

One of the best pasty places around and the staff really do know their product. The desserts are very nice too. My son says this is the best place that sells donuts

A very nice place to visit if you're on the go. Generally speaking, the food is very good and reasonably priced. ยฃ2 for a coffee and a bacon/sausage sandwich in the mornings is a complete barging and I couldn't recommend it enough. Pasty's are pretty good here too, as are the cakes.

Great. Pastys were hot and fresh from the oven. The nice lady that makes them was helpful and seemed to know what she was doing

I love the Cornish Oven. The breakfast pasties are epic. The flaky, salty pastry is simply delicious! The staff are awesome too. An all-round gem :)

The cornish oven produce the best pasties in Cornwall for sure! I visit their shops regularly and am never disappointed. The staff (particularly in the Pool shop) are really friendly. Highly recommend!

Don't go anywhere where else now, there's a lot of pastys being sold that are inedible, no seasoning, thick crust, a blob of meat on top and not much else with it, and they expect you to pay a eye watering price for the experience. You won't get that with Cornish oven, you must try there chicken pasty, best around, and there cheese and bacon wrap is full and very tasty you won't find a better one. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Possibly some of the best pasties in Cornwall hot or cold, fair prices, free parking however the queue is always long at peak hours however its always worth the wait, i would highly recommend going here.

Great pasties for lunch and an amazing bacon roll and coffee deal for breakfast. As cheap as the big brands and so much better!
