We had a wonderful stay at the Antelope. The room was perfect; spacious and clean. It had all the facilities you'd expect like tea/coffee, hair dryer, iron etc. The hotel team are lovely - everyone we spoke to had a smile on their face and were always happy to help. The hotel is situated right in the centre of Poole, just a 2 minute walk to the harbour. The breakfast was delicious, with hot food and continental options. Evening meals were also great; I highly recommend the ham & leek pie! The hotel is also dog-friendly, which makes a big difference and the team were very welcoming to our furry family members.
We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Poole.

Went for lunch and was really good value for money. Everyone enjoyed the meal they had and came out really quick and was very tasty. Staff are very attentive and asked how our meals were. Location amazing and its a beautiful pub.

Probably the nicest steak I had in ages: a light char outside a 'blue' rump 8oz steak, at only £15, with onion rings, chips, grilled half tomato, garnish. At £15 quid, come on; the chef knows about steak, and the winning charm of server Callum makes this a must visit to anyone visiting Poole.

We stopped for lunch by chance in this pub which is just behind the quay, it has a lovely courtyard area with lots of tables and seating, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was served quickly and was delicious.

Just popped in being Poole is our home town, but not been down bottom of town for quite a while. But was happily surprised how well one of my old drinking haunts was doing. Excellent service and excellent quality food.

Functional pub, a limited choice of drinks, with only one ale available at the time of my visit. Fails to compete with local competition, ignore what your competitors are doing at your peril, they are better than you at the moment.

Lovely place, excellent waiting staff. Very friendly. Didn't stay in the hotel, though so can't comment.

Went for a meal here on Tuesday night. What can I say!!! The food was fantastic. I had fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection. Service was great. Jess took my order and Ruth delivered my food. Made me feel right at home. Also a great selection of beers. Thank you very much.

Went lastnight for a meal with Family, there were 8 of us and everything was perfect, fantastic service from start to finish, all 8 meals were perfect and so were the puds, really lovely staff too.

We like the peace and quiet of the pub garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. We didn't have a meal, only drinks, but it was quiet and peaceful and the staff were very friendly.

Good selection of beer available and a very friendly welcome. Went on a Sunday lunchtime and decided to sample a couple of Sunday roasts. The turkey and beef were both delicious and went down a treat.
Highly recommended for the food but a more than pleasant place to spend some time just having a drink

As good as it gets for a pub these days . I like it as it as different rooms with 3 or 4 tvs to watch the match . Good old pub . I had a pint of stellar it was spot on . Good crowd in too.

My husband and I went for Sunday Lunch after our trip to Brownsea Island. They advertise a Carvery 12-9pm. No Carvery but did either beef or chicken. We had the beef and ordered around 2.15.
For £9.95 we were very disappointed. Plenty on the plate, too much. Three overdone roast potatoes that must have been hanging around for ages, mashed potatoes, selection of veg (was best thing on plate) two very thick pieces of beef a Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. Maybe just us but wouldn't have mashed potatoes or stuffing with beef.
They did ask how the food was and we said we were disappointed. The waitress said she would tell the kitchen. She offered a dessert or another drink. That's the last thing we wanted.
We won't be going back in a hurry

Such a shame, used to be a great place, until staff cuts
Only 2 customer facing staff to run bar and serve food
Waited over an hour for table to be cleared after mains, this was only done once I went to the bar and complained
Lots of dishes on the menu had run out, this was at 1800 on a Saturday !!!!!
Food was good

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Antelope Inn this weekend. Glad to have found somewhere we could take our dog as she is only a puppy. Staff were friendly and our food was delicious we enjoyed our first meal so much that we came back the second night and it didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere couldn't have asked for more.

When arrived the room was incredibly cold. Heating was off. The bathroom was smelling of old. Shower not working properly.
First time I stay in a place that doesn’t have a hairdryer. Very noisy until 1am no chance to sleep.
Can’t blame the staff that was very nice and helpful.

Dinner not as menu says, drink not as menu says. Room far too hot and can’t have window open because of dog, no fan available

Had a meal at The Antelope this evening and couldn't fault it. Deal for £5 for adult burger meals, food was fast and good, great value. Very friendly staff. Will definately be back.

Nice waitresses...garden a bit mucky had to look at tall cages..Macaroni Cheese very good had to send Ham,egg and chips back as ham was grey and egg very hard, where it had been left under a heat lamp! I presume, a fresh one was brought and that was fine..put us off and we did not stay for more drinks or pud,it was not busy at the time we went.
Carole Edwards
Couldn’t fault our stay, staff were friendly, room was clean, bathroom clean and overall very comfortable. We were able to book an evening meal and breakfast. The bonus for us was you took dogs. Parking might of been a concern but we were lucky enough to get parking at the front of the hotel free but only between 5pm-9am.

I booked here for a family meal around 30 of us to celebrate my daughters 18th on arrival on the day there was no heating as it had broken down all guests had to keep by their coats on I had no call to tell me to see if I wanted to cancel or postpone even the staff were shivering they were so cold ,they were short staffed so food came out slow and cold.I pre ordered due to.the amount.of people and some orders came out wrong the food was dry and the gravy was stuck to the plate as if it had been heated back up in the microwave one guest even went without their main meal after spending around £500 with them between everyone . After complaining they sent a £50 voucher to.use in one of their establishment's how am I meant to share this between 30 people and what a insult after spending nearly £500 and my daughters 18th celebrations were ruined Disappointed and angry are a understatement
