Visiting a friend in the area and just went for a local area walk to find something to eat. Popped in to The Churchill as it looked inviting. Lot of older clientele in there which to me said safe and homely. Bar staff ladies were very welcoming and helpful. Was told there would be a 20 minutes wait
I travelled from Birmingham to the Churchill to visit a friend. Great place for family of all ages,also a pillar of the community,ample parking and friendly staff. Prices are competitive for the area too.
Despite us only calling 30 minutes in advance, they were able to accommodate our wedding party of seven without any problems. The staff were friendly, the service was prompt, and the food was great. Congratulations from the regulars was icing on the cake. Couldn't have asked for more!
The food was very nice, even gave compliments to the chef. There's games to keep the kids occupied, and the kids' menu has a good selection as well as being really good value for money.

Just popped in for a pint. I was served by a bartender named Gavin. He’s a super friendly and kind! The pub has a nice atmosphere and has plenty of beer and cider options.
We both had the pensioners special, tender gammon, crispy chips, a beautifully fried egg and tasty peas. Followed by treacle sponge & ice cream & 3 (yes 3 scoops) of chocolate ice cream. It was all excellent, the best pub meal we’ve had for a long time. We’ll be back soon.
The manager Gavin was an excellent host, helpful with a great sense of humour. We were just visiting the area whilst on holiday but would definitely go there again.
Amazing service! Super friendly staff, especially Charlotte and Victoria who served me personally and were warm and welcoming. They made my experience joyful and funny with their friendly attitudes. Definitely would visit again.

Food was good, service was friendly. 4 stars because the table was super stick, the restaurant was airless and stuffy and the corridor to the bathrooms smelt if urine. Ladies bathroom was clean though.

I found the covid restrictions were being fully enforced which made me feel more comfortable about bringing my friends yes it is different and has to be done the just play the game and everyone will be safe thank you for the good service and polite and well-mannered staff
