Bridge Cottage Art Cafe - Poolewe - Photo album

Me and my partner went in as we were looking for a particular water fall. Someone working there, a gentlemen, gave us directions to some nearby. We grabbed a takeout brownie and hot chocolate which were brilliant. We went back the next day to have lunch. Tattie soup and bread which was also brillian
What a gem in poolewe lovely place cosy atmosphere a great selection of local arts and crafts. Had a soup and brownie with a coffee one of the best chocolate brownies I’ve ever had! Best of all open throughout the winter! Couldn’t have been more hospitable for both dogs and little ones!
This one was unexpected find in our NC500 tour. Very cozy, small, cute design place with excellent food. Everything is fresh and SO tasty! Plus, what is very rare on this island, as everything is just huge pile of meat and chips, here we've managed to get proper amount of raw salad and cabbage salad
I just love places like this one 🫶🥰 small, cosy and the food was excellent!! Fresh bread, toasted with a bit of fresh oil and poached eggs 🥚🤤 so yummy!! We were lucky to have sunshine and the opportunity to sit outside. But also indoors it looked great
First time in since Ailsa and family took over the cafe. Great coffee, great baking, great chat. Coffee that good I got another for the road.
Stopped for a hot drink and soup after a cold and windy drive on the NC500. An excellent lentil soup, well spiced/salted, with *homemade* fresh sourdough bread. Considering it’s the tourism off-season I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail here. Interior of the cafe was very pleasan
Delicious pies! They have a lot of fillings, price is a bit high but I assure the quality. You pay for what you get. Staff were attentive and friendly. I loved the pie so much and will go again for it!
We bought some very tasty cake for dessert Can highly recommend that place👍🇨🇭😀
Very friendly little cafe/takeaway. Bubbly atmosphere, dog friendly, staff chatty and fun. Lovely place for a quite bite to eat and cuppa 👌🏻
Four of us had a lunch in the cafe - 2 soups, a cheese sandwich and the Spanish tortilla. We all enjoyed it - well made, great taste and charming service. We thought it was great value - the bread is home made, the salad is fresh locally grown micro greens and very, very tasty. And the home made
Great place, fun, nice place for any meal. Definitely recommended.
What a hidden gem, underrated to say the least a definite stop on the NC500. We had been on our motorcycle stopping at various cafes and nothing has hit the spot quite like this. The freshly made sourdough bread, the homemade chips the selections of teas are all excellent. My wife especially enjoyed
Unfortunately there were no gluten free options, but they did make an effort to offer me alternatives. My guests told me that the Steak and Ale, as well as the Cornish pies were good. The Chilli con Carne pie was not the best and a little dry.
Have been quite a regular customer to this delightful little cafe, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the food, cakes, teas and coffees are delicious. You might have to wait for a table to become free, but it's worth the wait!
Brilliant coffees and fresh baked breads. We had the soup and the pulled pork sandwich both were fantastic.
Absolutely delicious food and coffee! We stopped for a quick snack but ended up staying for coffee and cake too. There's was great vegan and vegetarian options and all of it was amazing! Everyone was friendly and the place is very cosy and comfortable and there's outdoor seating too. We would defini
Past by on my bike and had a great pie. The food is simply really awesome. Truly recommend, as it’s just home made at its best.
Absolutely delicious vegan food here! We had a lovely cheese and onion marmalade sandwich, soya latte and apple cake 🤤 we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces!
