Whistle Stop Cafe - Port Erin - Photo album

Great little cafe at Port Erin Station. Good selection of homemade cakes available plus hot meals and drinks. Gluten free crumpets, cake & all-day breakfast available plus a good choice for vegans. Outside seating available. There is a warning of a 40 minute wait for food when the trains are running
Great tearoom at the railway station, eat in or take out. Good selection of light meals and drinks. Staff welcoming, food was really good and tasty. Toilets available. All on one level with easy access.
The meals coming out of the kitchen looked good but we only had drinks and cakes. Great selection of cakes! Friendly staff coped well with a busy service.
Lovely cafe with plenty of seating at the Port Erin Railway station. Wide range of snacks and light lunches on menu alongside selection of drinks. Home made / freshly prepared. A pleasant stop regardless of whether you're actually traveling on the stream railway.
Food very nice. Service slow as food made to order. Soup on menu had run out so husband had to queue twice to choose alternative dish. Friendly staff.
Lovey food, great service very friendly staff and fun to see the trains go past. Food was gorgeous and very reasonably priced, would 10/10 recommend this place if you’re in the area!
Variety of gluten and vegan options, lots on the walls re train memories, good pot of tea for 1, also had a coke, 2 slices of cake, dog friendly
Great food, especially the cakes! Situated in the railway station a great place for lunch and a stream train ride. Prices were good and service was friendly and prompt. There can be a bit of a wait at busy times, but well worth it. Children's menu available along with vegetarian and gluten free opti
Great experience at the end of the line. Had a lovely cuppa with a cheese and ham toasties each side dressed too. Clean seating areas we sat inside as outsides at a premium. Upon our return from the beach we had a Davidson individual ice cream pot each with a lovely hot chocolate. Staff very attenti
Lovely breakfast at a good price. Coffee was excellent too. We were warned that we'd have to wait a bit for it but it wasn't a problem as we weren't in a hurry. Staff very efficient and friendly. Added bonus as the train puffed in while we were eating!
Great coffee, decent bacon sandwich and dog friendly... all plus points. They do a really good Full Engllish, and the Salmon and Scrambled eggs is another popular item
I like this. Looks a busy place and not just people. Lots to look at and hold your interest. Used by locals too. Got character, atmosphere. I'm sure the coffee was good but cannot remember as looking all around me at other stuff!! Obviously the old railway station with toilets at port Erin. Just wha
It's always a treat to visit the Whistlestop coffee shop. My favourite doorstep toast and an oat milk latte never disappoints. Everything is made fresh and the cakes are incredible.
Would highly recommend you pay this place a visit, whenever you're in port Erin, for shopping or a day trip to the beach. This is the place to visit. The food is fresh and the staff are so friendly. You won't be disappointed
Excellent coffee shop really busy in a beautiful building.
Great little place, good food, very nice cakes, and good range of drinks. You need to be aware if you want hot food (like a breakfast) it can take up to 40 minutes of the trains are busy! We had some toasties, though, and they came out after 10-15 minutes.
Its only my second time here and ive been going past it for 17 years! It honestly is a cosy and happy atmosphere. Food is very good and the coffee
The small room where the main cafe counter is located was toasty and warm, but there were no tables left in there so we had to sit in the “waiting room” section, which was pretty cold with no heating. Another table asked the staff if they could start the fire, even offered to do it for them, but the
