Spice Root Indian Takeaway

I am late doing this review but literally not ordering from this place ever again. Ordered a chicken korma with rice and chips and 2 cans of diet Pepsi through Just Eat and it took 2 and half hours for it to come only for the delivery driver in the Renault to give me the an order who was rude and horrible when I told him there with no Pepsi and there was meant to be 2 and the curry looked like cooking oil so I phoned the shop to complain and they didn't want to know so I took it further with Just Eat. I am sorry but it looks like we are ham sandwiches for supper as the food was disgusting, don't order, absolute cash grab with horrible staff and I am only leaving 1 star.

Ordered 2 meals 1 with chips the other with rice online. The meals were delivered with no chips. I phoned them straight away to ask if the driver can bring what I had ordered. I was told I cant promise that as we are busy. Had to go to the chipy to get chips. Poor customer service. Wont be buying there again

Upon delivery, chips were borderline cooked, soft not crispy and just horrible. Vegetable samoas, usually big and exciting but we're absolutely tiny. Kulcha Naan bread were soft and doughy and had no flavour or charred. Peshweri had little better flavour in filling but basically very unpleasant. Passanda was very mediocre. Aloo Gobi just was ok, same as korma. Pilau rice was nice. Spice root I wanted to love your Indian, but after seeing the dishes and having a little taste of all component's. I didn't even get it out onto plates and serve it with the partner. Phoned up and are awaiting a full refund. Told to do so through just eat which will take a few days to process. Will make sure we are refunded fully. Not happy, was really looking forward to a lovely feast. And at 32quid it's not cheap, we don't get Indian often and when we do it's usually always good. Sorry. It's bacon and eggs on toast for dinner
