Today we were the first people to have you Christmas tea. Just to say it was delicious! What a treat! Highly recommend it :)
Visited The View today for coffee and cake whilst down home for a visit - great place to go and definitely an asset to the village and great to know supporting the lifeboats - thank you - we will be back !
have heard a lot of comments about the view and all were good so was over for lunch and was really impressed staff are friendly and polite food was lovely and I like the wee gift shop a lot of nice things and reasonably priced good luck to you all and hope to see you's soon.
This is the second Sunday we have been to the view, both times we've have had great food and great service .keep up the good work a definite asset to the village.

What a lovely find! After a long walk we were starving! Husband and I called in for a bite. We had toasties, salad, coleslaw, chips and drinks. Food was very fresh and the chips were really good! Clean toilets, friendly service and what a view too. Lovely position! Thank you :)
Nice cafe, great views, general food is OK, cakes etc are terrific. Lacking vegan options though so my partner was a bit stuck. Good coffee and it does support the local lifeboat so why not ?
Lovely community cafe with great history. Nice to see the proceeds go straight to the rescue boat. Friendly helpful staff.
Really good value lunch and ice creams. Was busy and the manager/owner was on crowd control at the counter, assertively telling everyone where to stand to make sure we were served in order and efficiently, which worked well and made you feel looked after and valued. She also took time out for our excited children which was welcome. Good to see a community cafe being so well supported.

Gorgeous place. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the food was stunning, plenty of parking. We even got a window spot for a lovely view. We'd definitely go back
Went in for a light lunch in the afternoon and went back again in the evening for a couple of drinks. Food was good, and service was great - all the staff were really friendly. Called back in the following morning for a couple of cakes to take away - the 'mars bar' cake was delicious!
A wonderful cafe and a great addition to the village. Worth a detour if outside the area. Excellent coffee and cakes. Lunches looked great too. Staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed coffee and cake every morning during our holiday. It is also worth mentioning the cafe helps fund the Port William Inshore Rescue Service which is independent from the RNLI and funded though donations. There is also a small gift shop attached to the cafe. Great views of the harbour.
Loved this place. Breakfast was great. Waitress outstanding. Lovely atmosphere due to the local ladies 'Knit and Natter' group in cafe. Would recommend completely.
Really nice community cafe. Friendly helpful staff. We only had coffee but there is good selection of food from cakes to full meals.
Proceeds help keep the lifeboat running so a very worthy cause.
Great home made food, Onion Rings are beautiful proper onions 🧅. Always double up on the chips yum. Hot Waffles are fantastic. Must try. You wi not be disappointed. The staff are all so friendly and Welcoming.
Made the mistake of going in when it was carnival week, no fish and chips, but no problem meal we had was good very tasty. Staff good. Aptly named the view, craving views across the bay, on a clear day the mull of Galloway can be clearly seen . Will be back for the fish and chips!
