Viet By Vee

I was very surprise to find Vietnamese food in a little town called Portadown in Ireland. I've only moved here a week ago from London and was craving Vietnamese food. There is loads of Vietnamese Restaurants in London some hit and misses my taste bud. Anyway so I visited "Viet By Vee" for lunch and had the Bbq Pork Vermicelli Noodles with Crispy Spring Rolls. OMG the presentation was on point and dam did it taste good, so good I went back there the same day for dinner and tried the Beef with Lemongrass Rice. The Steamed Rice they use is FRAGRANCE Jasmine Rice and not no cheap dry Long grain rice which is a nice touch and the food was really authentic and lovely so 10/10 and the prices is really good. Definitely will be coming back and this gem of a find is worth a visit if you're passing through Portadown Northern Ireland.

Just tried here for the first time tonight. Unreal. Portadown should be proud to have a place like this. I had the beef brisket pho. Ridiculously tender beef, such a flavourful and nicely spiced broth. King prawn spring rolls were lovely and everyone is full of fresh herbs, chilli, nuts, spring onion....lots of texture. And by far the healthiest takeaway in town. Brilliant!! No photos because I was too keen to get into it.

My favourite place to eat in Portadown. I have tired everything on the menu at this stage and can honestly say I have not had a bad experience once. Everything is super fresh and it really comes through in the taste. Amazing. My recommendation is the Salmon and noodles, but wont go wrong with anything else. 10/10

I go here 3/4 days a week. I’m a huge lover of Asian food & I can say from experience the Food here is exceptional. Everything , (right down to the sauces) is home made with the highest attention to detail. Service is so friendly and personable, atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The Place is spotless inside. Wether you dine in or take away your food is handled with care & presented beautifully, There’s nothing on a par with Viet by Vee anywhere around here. Different class. 10/10 all day every day.

We had SUCH a nice experience here. Vee & Becca were so friendly and inviting, and where happy to edit dishes and create things not on the Menu to suit our needs (Vegan rolls & coffees etc). The food was fresh & full of flavour, but the girls personalities made it even better. Can't wait to go back! It's so hard to find nice veggie or vegan food around here, so refreshing to be welcomed in and catered to. Keep up the good work ladies! 👌

We got food in at lunch time on a Sunday around opening time. The restaraunt inside is really cute and there is also some seating outside for nicer weather. The staff were all lovely! I wish we had gone sooner. The satay chicken bun cha bowl was amazing and the chicken was lovely and tender. The Pho was nice and filling with a lovely complex flavour. We also got the Vietnamese Iced Coffee which was really tasty and a little takeaway cake as a treat for later. Everything was so good we can't wait to come back!

We went in for a light snack with our tea, coffee and deserts. We had the chicken satay skewers (one without satay sauce, dislike to peanuts) amazing! Vietnamese coffee, amazing! Irish tea great too. We also had the red velvet bun and a mini fruit tart both very tasty. We would definitely go again and again and againi cant wait to try more off their menu. For a new business they run like clockwork and have a good selection. Ooh we also had a mango and coconut water smoothie, very tasty! Thank you ladies!
