Red Lion

Nice pub , needs a bit of TLC but nothing major. Food was really nice and not over priced. Kid friendly with a child's menu. Football was on when we went so a bit noisy, was a good friendly atmosphere though! Quite small, and the front doors and windows all open up so the front of the pub is completely open to the street. Smoke tended to waft through easy as that's where the smokers went, didn't bother us though.

Amazing food & staff! Fast service and amazing atmosphere.. great communication & staff always let you know about wait times for food especially in busy periods when the pub is full and everyone orders at the same time :) can’t fault them and we come every week and will continue to always come back especially for my full English breakfast which is always amazing! Thanks guys :)

Had a breakfast at the Red Lion today, fantastic value for money, cheaper than Wetherspoons, more food for your money and one little thing, it’s hot unlike Wetherspoons where you just get Luke warm food that’s been sitting under a heat lamp, all 3 of us agreed that from now on that’s where we will be meeting for breakfast… l had the extra big breakfast, which was more than enough for me with no extras….. And the coffee was great, NOT endless amounts of refills that taste yuck, just a large cup of VERY nice coffee. To be fair, I’m not going to bother cooking and washing up for that money…. Well done to all the friendly staff that worked to make that happen…. Thank you
