Lovely pub right on the seafront - drinks reasonable price for the location (£5-6 a pint) and staff really friendly. Was apprehensive of trying the food as some bad reviews but all had lovely food and will definitely be going back! Always check the specials board - there was a sirloin steak special
The photos says it all.. lovely staff very good selection of beer wines and spirits.. although we didn't eat here today the food on other tables looked good.

We all decided to go there after a recommendation from my brother. We had ham, eggs and chips with peas. Delicious food and delicious beer.

If your visiting Porth the Mermaid is well worth a visit located right on the edge of the beach with plenty of outdoor seating giving you a view of Porth beach. During my visit I had the 10oz Gammon washed down with a pint of Thatchers Haze both very nice indeed and good value for money.
Beautiful location right on the beach. The food looked mega although we didn't eat today would definitely do so next time I'm here. Kids playing happily on the beach and can watch them safely from the outside seating area so good for the whole family
Lovely pint in the Mermaid and friendly atmosphere. Visited in October and given the location am sure it is at its best in the Summer months but lovely all the same. Food looked good but we did not engage as had booked elsewhere.

Had an amazing stay at Porth beach, the dog friendly beach pub was excellent, staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful, food was lovely and a great atmosphere. Defiantly worth a visit.
