I paid £23 for a large COD and chips, a fish cake and chips, a side of curry sauce and also two 500ml bottles of Diet Coke. The price seemed very reasonable for such large portions. Me and my partner were very full afterwards.
The food was very tasty. The chips were large and chunky and golden brown with a nice soft fluffy inside. The COD was also delicious.
The inside has had a revamp since being taken over by new owners.
Overall we had a good experience and will definitely be paying another visit in the future.

Cant thank the staff enough tonight for their support 16/9/23' grandson petriefied off the flying daddy long legs spider's' we went in' sat diwn to eat' 3-4 in shop flying around' sat in to eat' he had a melt down' he suffers with autisum' one shop lady went round shop killing em' and the other couple of ladies transfered our food to take out carton's so we could leave without causing my grandson any more unnecessary stress' again thank u'

Bit slow after ordering. Fish was wonderful. Chips were decent too. Curry sauce was my favourite part. Helped the Chips go down. Lovely!!

Franco's Fish Shop is a lovely place to enjoy beautifully cooked fish and chips or anything they have on the menu. Either sit in or take away it is excellent food. I sat in with the family and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I also enjoyed a nice cup of tea. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. Friendly staff and helpful.

Great place with a decent sized area to eat in. Food was a little stale- guess it had been under the hot plate for a while on a quiet Monday lunchtime but otherwise no complaints

Fish was lovely. No complaints, could perhaps have been a little bigger for a large. But it was fresh and cooked perfectly. They usually come with skin on. But we're happy at request to cook fresh with no skin. So thank you. Chips were average, but no complaints.
