My absolute favourite pub in Porthcawl. Wonderful Staff, friendly regulars who always chat and fantastic food from Tuesday - Sunday. HUGE selection of real ales from all over the place aswell as Bass straight from the Barrel. Continental lagers, Wines and great choice of top shelf spirits. Oh... and the best little beer garden ever ♡♡♡
Loved it here Sunday lunch with the family (6 of us) very generous portion, lovely gravy. Fab deserts. Lots of colouring pens and paper for the kids. Will definitely be going back.

Booked Sunday lunch for a large crowd. I enjoyed my food, but the service was a little disorganised due to staff issues which we were given a complimentary drink for, even though I personally didn't have an issue with.
Lovely little place, just off the main stretch. Oldy worldly pub, nice and quiet compared to other pubs in Porthcawl.
I have visited the Lorelei a couple of times for Sunday lunch and each time they have been very welcoming and accommodating me juggling my two little children. I am yet to visit as a family of five, but I know the Lorelei would be perfect in accommodating our autistic son, which is a rare gem! The food was lovely and I would highly recommend, and will return soon.
Stopped off here with my coach party. It was a very nice place, and lots of shops also have nice food. I definitely recommend

We were in Porthcawl and had been previously told to visit the Lorelei and sample the food & ale, well we were certainly not disappointed! 4 ales, 1 of which was average 3 were very good to excellent. The food was excellent, and value was absolutely amazing. It has to be said though that the place needs a total refurbishment, however, I really would urge you to call and take in a meal (and some ale). Not the easiest place to find but it's in Esplanade Avenue (the street after the Pavilion). The 2 meals for £10 were absolutely astonishing! See pics. The surf & turf with a 10 oz steak also amazing value at £12.50, will certainly call again.
The food is absolutely superb. Drinks prices are the cheapest in Porthcawl and the staff extremely friendly.

It doesn't feature jazz events during Porthcawl Jazz Festival, but it's a fabulous cosy old world pub selling proper beer, great food, friendly talkative family pub?!!

Excellent food and a great selection of real ales,the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere has a very homely feeling to it, i was very reluctant to rate the Lorelei so high in case it gets to popular Lol but credit where credit is due, it is one of my favourite places and i will be spending a lot more time there ...
