I'm disappointed to see that there's no extra staff to serve in the cafe, the staff behind the counter are too busy to serve customers their choice of pastries.
They're warming pasties/pies etc, and making teas and coffees for people who have chosen to have their pastries in the cafe area!!!
Ridiculous, long, queues most days!
Can be really busy on times, but today straight in served sat down no problem. Clean and very pleasant staff.

Love the steak bakes. Great breakfast rolls and deals on the coffee or tea with it, win win
Who doesn't love a steak bake!? Well maybe people who don't eat meat but there are plenty of options at tidy prices
Great coffee, Great Tomato soup and Drink and Cake deal. Plus the staff are friendly and always busy either serving customers or cleaning the shop. Good Luck to a great British institution!!!!!!
Breakfast baguette was lovely staff friendly and helpful
Went for the day as we were visiting went for old time sake of cause this shop wasn't here when we were there last but I'm delighted to say they had ice slicers my all time favourite unfortunately and sad to say shamefully we don't have them in London so we made the most of them here the staff were very helpful and friendly. When we visit again we are sure to go again even if it is for the ice slice.
