Incredible thoughtful food, with carefully sourced local ingredients, cooked over an open fire. Can buy as a takeaway or eat outside or indoors at Origin Coffee Roasters, where there is excellent coffee, craft beers and wines and indoor seating. Lots of parking outside. Easy place to stop on your way to Porthleven or Helston.

We rocked up the other night, even found space inside (though I recommend booking if you want to guarantee sitting inside) and had the best time!! The food was so delicious, was a super lovely, seasonal menu (loved the abundance of plums!) and everything tasted ridiculously fresh. Some really nice vegetarian and vegan options available also. Location is perfect too - a residency at the Origin roastery at the mo. So there’s great natural wines and speciality coffee from those guys. Thank you!!

Had an absolutely amazing dinner at Blowers Place back in July when we were in Cornwall, superb efficient service from the smiley staff and excellent wines from the Origin team but the food was the star. Imaginative, varied and - as it was explained, all very very locally sourced. And the cheesecake, wonderful! We will be and have recommended them to others travelling near Porthleven who want something a little classy and different just 5 minutes from the harbour (in the rain the night we were there)!

After the rain stopped us from coming here back in June Lucy and I were over the moon to finally have tried George’s food and it lived up to expectation! The prices might seem high at first but when you understand the preparation and quality of the produce used it really does feel like a value for money (especially in the sunshine with a flat white)!
