Passage To India - Porthmadog - Photo album

Amazing food and amazing service, got a takeaway to bring back home from a day out, we went inside and ordered to take out and were expecting a wait. About 10 minutes had passed and the man behind the bar had come to give us DRINKS for having to wait, then 5 minutes passed and he gave us a BOTTLE OF
Great restaurant - we have been coming here for many years and the Sagwala remains an excellent dish
Fantastic, excellent service throughout. Enjoyed a beer and the waiter was there to give lollipops to the kids. Opted for the set meal for one. Only complaint I would have is I like it hotter but never specified this when ordering. Plenty of food and was like a mini buffet. Give the place a visit, y
Don't believe some of the other reviews on here. We were In Porthmadog for a few days, We ordered for 2 people (with starters) and the grand total came to 22.50 (a bargain compared to our local Indian takeaways). Food was on point and the gentleman (presume the owner) was a very nice man when I cam
We love eating here and make sure we pay a visit every time we are in Porthmadog which is about 5 or 6 times times a year. The service is always excellent, the staff are very friendly and nothing ever seems too much trouble for them. As for the food, it is excellent and consistently so. We have neve
I went with my family ( wife, boy 8 & girl 5) our kids eat off the main menu so the lack of kids' menu wasn't an issue but it could be a problem if you're looking for one. We ate early 1730 & were the 1st ones in so service was great. Food was good, all curries were very different from each other wh
We were dubious about this restaurant after seeing and hearing negative reviews, but we were glad we tried it. Everyone was well spaced, food was all lovely, and the staff were great, especially dealing with some difficult rowdy customers (not us!). All at a very reasonable price.
How anyone can rate this restaurant average is beyond me. Visited on a Tuesday evening, to start we were the only ones in there, waiter asked if we would like drinks and poppodums with chutneys, which he left us to munch on for a while. He returned a short while later where we ordered our mains, too
Best nan bread ever, soft, fluffy and tasty too, great service, spot on chicken tikka madras and draft cobra too. A real gem in the heart of a lovely town. Thank you, long may you continue to supply the curry needs of visitors to your town in such a great way.
Probably about my 10th visit over a period of about 15 years visiting the area. Great food very consistently - and without the dry mouth you often get from over-salted curries. Staff friendly and helpful. Shame about the Indian television in the corner ... not enough to drop a star for though!
