Lovely local cafe. Hidden away in sun trap little courtyard. Sandwich lunches well presented. But you really go here for the cakes and shakes. Perfect when you want a treat.

I wanted to do something special for my Mum's birthday this year and settled on organising a cream tea for a small group of friends and family. I contacted Shanicatti Shakes on the off chance that they would make all the sandwiches and a cake for the event which was due to happen only 24 hours later! I was pleased to find out they could help on such short notice. David was very accomodating and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble.
The sandwiches were delicious (especially the coronation chicken) and a couple of people commented that the victoria sponge was the best they'd ever had! Everything was very affordable too.
Would not hesitate to order again! We even popped to the cafe the next day to say thank you over a milkshake.

Love this little gem tucked away just off the High Street. We've been for lunch but personally I love popping in for a treat and having an ice cream sundae, hubbie likes the banana split, son likes the chocolate brownie sundae and I love the after eight sundae with mint chocolate chip ice cream.
As well as stocking a huge range of ice creams, they do light lunches, an array of milk shakes, cakes, after noon tea and freak shakes.
It's lovely to be able to support a local business.
