Moved into FoPo this spring and have been trying all the places nearby to find our go-to for to-go Thai. This is it. This is the place. BF says it's nice and cosy for eating in, but we've only ever ordered takeout. Great flavors, a little more complex than the average Portland Thai joint. Not the cheapest and not the hugest portions if those things matter to you, but their prices reflect their quality. Well worth it and delicious!

Very impressed on my first visit. Ordered the Cashew Nut stir fry with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Large portion, high quality ingredients and great service. This is my go to dish at most Thai restaurants around Portland and this one really delivered. I will definitely be back!

Always delicious and service is friendly. Been following this restaurant since it was a food cart in downtown PDX. So happy they were able to relocate to a brick and mortar and it's close to my home!

Food was delicious! I had the salmon special, as pictured, and the salmon was perfectly crispy and the broth/sauce that permeated everything was so perfectly flavored. Jasmine rice was devine. Our waiter was very kind, especially to a group of 4 loud high schoolers.

First time there. I picked up Laab Gai and Som Tum and asked for it "X Hot." I used to live in Thailand and am picky about Thai food. I found the laab good but not great. Too sweet for my taste and not at all spicy. Still, it was tasty and I enjoyed it. The Som Tum was quite yummy and reasonably spicy. Fresh, crispy and tasty. Good serving sizes and nice presentation. Wish they would go a little less sweet and with more fish sauce (and dried shrimp for the som tum!), but would certainly go back again. Recommended: some of the better Thai food I've had in Portland.

Excellent food! The potstickers were the best I've had in months. Pad sew was very flavorful. My pickup order was ready on time, and piping hot!

We love this place and were so happy when they moved into the neighborhood. We are regulars and the food and service are perfection. Today we ordered carry out, letting the owner know we had Covid so we could arrange a distanced pick up. When we opened our food, we saw that she had put some ginger tea in along with a handwritten note. Pure gold! We already loved this place but this type of thoughtfulness goes above and beyond. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try - you will not be disappointed!

I’ve ordered from Thai Sky a dozen or so times. It’s consistently delicious, but very spicy! We usually get the “very mild” option and it’s still got a lot of heat. We don’t mind some spice but our little one can’t handle as much. I wish it could be made without making eyes water when it’s no spicy level.

Indeed, the exquisite Thai Sky Kitchen will send your tastebuds into a euphoric frenzy as you chug the pitcher of water (with a slice of lemon) to wash away the Thai hot spices from the mid-15th century Silk Road.

Thai Sky is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We ordered online and did pickup - the food was ready at the stated time, and packed so that it was still fresh-out-of-the-wok hot when it made it home. Portions were quite large, so our order turned out to be meals for two spread over multiple days. Everything reheated beautifully. My only heads-up for visitors is to point out that Thai Sky shares a smallish parking lot with Pizzicato next door, and the layout is a one way U shaped lot with narrow parking spaces, so if you have a choice of vehicles, lean towards the smaller one. The dining area is very nice - I'm looking forward to a time when eating indoors becomes possible again. In the meantime, this is a terrific spot for take out.
