An Tigh Seinnse - Portnahaven - Photo album

Great food, good service and a friendly atmosphere at the end of a long single track road in Portnahaven. Well worth the trip! Cracked crab claws are really good, the Cullen Skink soup is the best we’ve had on this trip. If you want lobster or prawns, you need to call a couple of days in advance,
Fantastic quaint pub restaurant. I would recommend booking before going down, as it is small and can be busy. Food was amazing and presentation Fantastic. Great value for money and good selection on the menu. Make sure you check the specials board. The langoustines definitely worth trying and the po
Great little pub , very friendly , extremely good food . Wet windy day , storm Agnes, while we were there today. Portnahaven is a beautiful place to visit (as we know from past visits in the summer months) So good to still find An Tigh Seinnse here and up and running so well.
Very nice views along with a lovely welcome, the food is very satisfying and I highly recommend the seafood platter and Cullen Skink for starters just delicious could eat there all the time best meals for a long time, great atmosphere good luck 🤞 and keep doing well 💯...
Great wee pub with huge personality and great food. The seafood platter is amazing 🤩
We remember that pub from before it was closed. It was grey, cold and food was very mediocre. The new owner made it awesome! It’s cozy and soooo alive! We reccomend to book, the pub is almost all the time full, that’s why you have to wait for your food a bit longer. I ate here one of the best lobste
Had lunch here twice whilst staying in Portnahaven. Great atmosphere chatting to people also visiting Islay and sharing experiences. Food was lovely as was the Guinness and the local ale. Service was excellent I highly recommend this pub.
Was a local recommendation and didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent, a nice atmosphere and friendly service!
Absolutely stunning place! Great seafood, well cooked. We loved visiting you and the welcome we got was brill. The seafood was amazing!! Good luck with your new venture, you deserve every success
Had the lobster which was incredible. I’ve been going to this pub for 40 years when over on Islay and found it a bit depressing but Megan has turned it into a cosy welcoming place. Best pub on Islay!
Distilleries, visitors centers and "central" locations can get crowded these days. So we decided to take the trip to Portnahaven. And it was definetly worth it. We were in a group of three and we had great food, good conversation and a wonderful time. They used to say: great pup, great peaople, grea
Nice pub, friendly people, very busy staff couldn't keep up to the number of customers, so service was slow, which I expected for them, they did their best.
Fresh fish with very good taste. Apple crumble was different than I know, but marvelous. Thank you
Great local small pub with nice food at reasonable price for the area
Food good but room very cold unfortunately.
