Good food, friendly staff, but a little pricey. Two English fried breakfast and 2 hot drinks was nearly £24. Very enjoyable, but at that price, we could only visit the once 😢

A great cafe that provides a great selection for any time of the day. We went back multiple times during our stay in Portreath! Owner was extremely welcoming and we loved the atmosphere. Delicious food.

Our choices for where we eat and drink nowadays are considerable and if there is something we don’t like about that place we generally vote with our feet.
However, now and again one finds a place where all the constituent elements come together. A choice of well prepared and presented food a large selection of home made cakes and a great atmosphere.
The ‘Tideline Cafe’ in Portreath is one of those gems, yes for the above but mostly for the wonderful welcome we always get from Linda and Lee.
I love going there and always look forward to some friendly banter.
It’s warm welcoming environment makes it a ‘must try’ should you be in the area.

My family and I went here for breakfast whist on holiday in Portreath. We had a lovely English breakfast with fried egg,bacon,sausage,spicy beans, tomato and mushroom. Accompanied with soda bread toast and a pot of tea. Yummy.
