Always walk past this shop. The pastries in the window always look incredible, but the exterior has put me off going in, never judge a book by it's cover though. Upon visiting, I saw it was a quaint little cafe, the man behind the counter was incredibly nice, and very passionate about his products, I bought a Portuguese Egg Tart and a Croissant. Both very obviously home made, which is impressive. Taste was un-matched, haven't eaten pastries so good since living in France! Returned a few weeks later and picked up a couple of bakewell tarts, again, incredible flavour. Pastry was spot on! Buttery and crisps, thin but thick enough to hold the filling. Best Bakewells I've ever eaten. I'll be returning to buy more pastries more frequently!

I only wanted a coffee when I went in but left with a lot more. I knew nothing about this lovely little place before I went in. The tables were busy with customers but that didn't stop me from being served at the counter quickly. Now I only fancied a coffee but while I waited for it to be made I was drawn in by the cakes... oh boy... cakes! I left with a great drink and two custard tarts. The price was spot on, the service was spot on and the tarts... spot on! 5* for the entire package. I'll be back!

Friendly welcome, good coffee and very best cakes, quiches and toasties in the city. Quiet background music so you can hear it and still have a conversation! A MUST GO place!

Such a delightful place this is! The pastries and tarts are gorgeous and absolutely delicious. The most genuine Portuguese custard tart you will find in Southsea - hands down! If you fancy dining outdoors their garden is not be missed! 🥰😋

Lovely little cosy place, we went on a cold day so decided to avoid sitting in the garden. The food was superb, quice is a must if you enjoy that kind of thing and the cake was very fresh, fluffy and light. Good selection of pastries and good service, music is mellow and not too loud. Most of the noise is the talking of others or the coffee machines.

A little touch of Parisian magic takes place here, with friendly staff, great variety of exceptional food and a tranquil garden at the back where you can escape the urban lifestyle and imagine you’re somewhere else. Top star rating here!

One of my favourite places to visit in Southsea. It is very different from anywhere else in the area and I am always impressed by the pastries! Very friendly owner, pleasant ambience and I like that his wife's artwork is up on the wall. The only tiny thing that I would do to improve the place is a little tidy up of the garden - more flowers! But I agree we are just coming out of winter so not the best time for our gardens. Overall a lovely business that I hope keeps thriving :-)

Was a beautiful coffee shop with a nice garden, very smelly and tasty coffee, a selection of patisseries was available like the amazing portuguese custard tart. Friendly staff.
