In Portsmouth to watch Rocky Horror and celebrate our wedding anniversary and found this place by chance and so glad we did. The food and service were lovely. Would def recommend
Amazing place and the food is exceptional. Found this little gem of a restaurant by chance after a show at the Kings Theatre. Service and atmosphere is so good. Seriously how have I missed this place as a local!!!. My new go to place ❤
The family and I visited here for a curry after the parents recommendation.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, with a good sense of humour. The restaurant itself is decorated in a modern fashion.
Our order took around 20 minutes to be served. All of the food was well prepared and very tasty. All of the meats were well cooked and most importantly very tender. I feel you can always tell a good curry house by the tenderness of their meat; no puns what so ever!
Would recommend eating here if you like curry and are in the area. It's one of the best in Albert Road in my opinion.
One of my favourite Indian's. I usually visit with Mum and we are always impressed with the food and service. Looks inviting!

Staying in Portsmouth for a few days .was told to booked & try this place. Wow what a great place. Clean & tidy .all staff dress smart. Food was amazing can't wait to come back.
I’m never had a an chicken curry or chicken fried rice, but after trying first time ever, I’m really loving it so so much the best ever taste so delicious xx
Been here 3 times now and madras flavour changes every time. Was very sweet and not hot enough this time. Didnt enjoy it and wont be returning. Staff wanted us in and out as quick as they could.

First time at purple mango and we will be back. The menu has a number of exciting dishes we want to try. The service was very good and they were busy. So nice to have mouth watering food served on linen table cloths and pristine white napkins.
