I popped into the Basmati after a night on the lash to order a proper hot curry (well, madras with garlic naan). Imagine my disappointment once I'd got home and took the curry out to what tasted like a chicken tikka masala - deffo not a lamb madras! - with chips rather than my garlic naan! :O ).
Anyhow, I rang the shop back - mumbled about being given the wrong order and gave my address. I was very happily surprised when some 10 mins later, they delivered my (VERY!) hot lamb madras with g.naan with totally no fuss.
So, thumbs up, Basmati, you turned around an annoying situation into one that I cannot fail to be impressed by!*
*And it's a proper (very) hot and tasty curry too, so they can obvs cook well too..! :D
Fantastic food amazing service really polite and friendly just can't beat them the chicken masala and balti is off the scale cant recommend them enough .
My partner disabled so i get his favourite indian food once a fortnight delivered from balsmati eastney , to near fratton , quick delivery , always hot , presentable and tasty , a freebee every time and more popodoms than asked for ...love it
