5 Thai Bistro

We’ve eaten a fair amount of Thai food and this is hands down the best we’ve ever had. Never expected to find it in NH but WOW. Excellent blend of flavors, great mix of vegetables and proteins. Not at all oily or greasy. Accurate spiciness scale. Must eat, we’ll be back for sure. We had the drunken noodles (spicy level 4), pad Thai (spicy level 1), spring rolls, Thai ice tea and Thai coffee, and mango with sticky rice. All of it was FABULOUS. I wish I could eat here every day!!

We had a fantastic dinner here! The ambience is very warm and welcoming. The service is fast, efficient with the servers being very courteous. We called in to make sure there's no need for a reservation and was given a time line to arrive in order to miss the crowd! The food was so delicious and the portions are made to share. The spice level was just as we ordered!Our whole family loved it here and we are sure to come back.

I love Thai food. I am from Miami. My Husband Loves Thai food. He is from Seattle. This is the best Thai food we have ever had. When we lived in NH we would drive over an hour to and from to have 5 Thai. It was always worth it. Now that we have moved out of NH we miss it terribly. We would always get the spicy duck and their beef soup. You cannot go wrong with ordering their cocktails either. Not only was the food great it was consistently great. In addition the amazing food and drinks the staff was always polite and attentive. I cannot say how much I miss this restaurant enough.

There are so many great restaurants here in Portsmouth, but this is probably my favorite and the one I choose to go to most often! Absolutely delicious and they get the spice level right better than any Thai restaurant near here. I ask for ten stars spice ad order drunken noodles more than anything else and they’re amazing.
