Brgr Bar

My wife and I think this place serves the greatest burger we've ever been too! If you go here, get creative and adventurous. Don't just get a regular cheeseburger. I got brie on my burger, with a garlic and sage aoli. It was AMAZING!!! My wife, who can be a little picky with beef, loved her burger too!! Portsmouth is a great city, with a lot of GREAT restaurants. But if I'm in the mood for a burger, it will always be BRGR Bar.

Excellent location and atmosphere for a Burger Bar. So much more than burgers. There menu is top of the line. I prefer the Brgr Bar because it's outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, but close enough to partake in the downtown attractions on a full stomach. The dining staff were exceptionally friendly.

My husband loved his burger. He was very impressed and I got nachos and a side of yummy crispy fries. We noticed this place across the street as we were planning on going to The Green Elephant, I thought to myself that place looks cool but im vegetarian. We ended up getting terrible treatment when we walked into The Green Elephant so we decided to try the BRGR Bar and let me tell you, we were seated immediately, the staff was kind and friendly, great atmosphere and they do have vegetarian options! I was very pleased considering what had happened across the street. The BRGR bar has really good food and we were extremely happy with the service. We will tell our friends to go to this place if they find themselves in the area. Thank you for putting the customer first and having good food!

I’ll be real: Waited 45 mins for two burgers (understaffed) but the food was pretty great. Kind staff, flexible menu. All burgers come with fries- both the sweet potato and regular were crispy & fresh. We go frequently and sit outside. A lot of tables with covid going on. My husband gets the turkey burger every time. I get the smash burger. So good. I always get my burger well done. I changed up the burger a little bit. I had the smashed burger, American cheese, tomato, onion and mayo. It's so good! The only thing missing on the menu are desserts. This time Alex was our waiter. Unbelievable service. He had one table and when we sat done there were 3 more tables sat in his area. He managed to keep up with every table and made sure he checked in to make sure food and drinks were good. Very good at what Alex does.

My mom and I went out for lunch and loved being able to eat outside. The menu is pretty versatile, my mom is on the healthy side so she enjoyed a few glasses of wine and a salad. For me I got a delicious key lime pie adult milk shake 😍 and an oo- mommy burger. The onion rings were amazing and caramelized onions paired so well with the gorgonzola. The best part was we were able to bring my dog with us to eat outside on the patio 🙌🏻
