The largest super beef I've ever seen! Meat was cooked perfectly and sauce was good. Definitely recommend this place! The prices were super reasonable

So glad to see that Haps is Back!!! And the RB is melt in your mouth fantastic. Got the large one on the onion roll and when I saw how thick it was, thought this might be a real chewing Donnybrook, but no! It was amazing! Geno’s and Pat’s, you’ve got nothing on Hap’s!

If you're from Mass and have a urge for an original roast beef like from home head to Haps the new owners are from Mass and doing it exactly right. Highly recommend the super Roast Beef onion roll comes with the real james river sauce and cheese. Huge sandwich had to take half home and I'm a big eater. If your a fan of Potine it is very good as well.
4 thumbs up.

The NEW Hap's is open! Was so sad driving by a closed Hap's for months, didn't think it would ever reopen. Today, I discovered that a new owner has brought it back and to its former excellence. Great fisherman's platter, baklava on the counter (doing Keto, can't have it), looks great. Good luck and I hope locals support you over the winter.

Delicious lunch at Haps today. They have the best roast beef I’ve ever had. Friendly staff, awesome food - We will definitely be back!

They're back?!?!? I hail from a place where there are Roast Beef joints on every corner, Lynn Massachusetts. I've had RB Sandwiches for as long as I can remember and when I moved to New Hampshire over 20 years ago I can't express my disdain for the lack of a good RB. Fast forward a few years and I'm living on the Seacoast and hear about this place, Haps. It's supposed to be good and, since I hadn't had a Beef in forever, I drove over. I was a frequent customer when they first opened up until I moved a bit north. Tried to come about a year ago and they were closed. So imagine my surprise when I drove by today and that glorious "OPEN" sign is flashing...I "bust a u-ey" in a true Massholian fashion and run in there. Ordered my usual, small Beef with Mayo and a Small Fry (Hey, whatdya want, I'm a simple man with simple pleasures!). I get outside, sit at a picnic table and take it all in. It's beautiful. The Beef is perfect, the shoestring fries are amazing and it brings me back to simpler times. I will gladly drive the 40 minutes here on a regular.
