We really enjoyed our beverages break at the Lokum during our two hour shop: a unique blend of tempting confectionery and standard Cafe fare. I recommend the healthy "dark" hot chocolate; without reservation. Right outside plenty of big brand retail action in Cascades. Definitely a credible alternative to the "big" coffee houses: looking forward to our next visit.
I was on my way to get home and hungry and saw their chicken doner. I came and ordered to try. totally worth my £3.95. the portion was good and I love it. gonna repeat and try their drinks too.
I tried some of the Turkish delight they were offering as a free sample, it was the chocolate and pistachio Turkish delight, not intending to buy but more out of curiosity. I had some and oh my goodness it was amazing!! Delightfully sweet and well-balanced flavours. So I bought a tray of it! The power of free samples!
The owners were really nice and super friendly; and their story is so sweet too (🙄😳). The cart they have, they actually shipped over and it took 15 days to arrive at Portsmouth, followed by three hours to get it from the entrance of the mall to where it stands.
Definitely worth the £3 for a medium tray. If your over there for some shopping, give it a go; have some while you take a break.
An approval from a Turkish 👍 I really like their products! My fav is fig and walnut delight with Turkish coffee. Also, the staff is very friendly.I highly suggest this shop.
