Ended up at South Mimms Pizza Express. We were all hungry but didn't have time for a sit down meal. I went in and ordered 2 pizzas (1 Gluten free) and dough balls to take away. It looked lovely inside and if we'd have had more time I would have been happy to sit and eat - it was clean and peaceful. I was using a stick and had parked down the path. The kind server actually carried the pizzas to my car so that I didn't struggle. They were hot, fresh and tasty and ready in 10 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. Excellent food and service.
Went last month the service was fantastic and friendly, food was good, also took half home. We left our daughters chilly water bottle and called them and they happily posted it to our home address as we live in Norfolk( they covered the postage) Was over the moon that they would go to that effort. Nice place, small but clean and organized. Server was nice and friendly. The pizza was really good.
First, you came in and you waited when she comes and let you come in, the glass on the table was a little bit dirty from water spills, my advice takes a towel and clean, food was delicious, the service was nice just accidentally she put bottles opener in my juice and even not reacting, just walk away as nothing happens! 🤗
Pizza Express has the formula right, even works in a motorway service station. Staff were good, food was good, it was just all good. Nice to have some real food at the services rather than the usual dross.
Had to grab something to eat in South Mimms services and not keen on fast food so I was really pleased to find Pizza Express, quickly seated and bought a pink apple juice, delicious American pizza arived very quickly, also quick to bring the bill, really good, why would you go for fast food.
Service was very quick and good was delicious for vegetarians
Be warned, the new dough balls with jalapeños are very very spicy.

Nice pizza with the same prices as the high Street, despite it being located at a service station. The pizza was nothing special just basic and a few toppings to add. It was empty when I went around midday but the staff were helpful, I ended up getting two pizzas.
An OK pizza restaurant, food was pretty good, though not spectacular. Was disappointed by the quality of the mojito I ordered.
Service was good, a littler perfunctory and one of the staff were shouting accross the restaurant to another member, from door to bar, which was unpleasant.
Good sized kids meals and fairly speedy, which was good given it was a service stop.
Had the most delicious vegan pizza called Gardienera or something like that. The restaurant was very clean and the waitress was friendly. I love that you can see your pizza being made too.
