Ryecroft Hall

Went with a group of OAPs for afternoon tea beautiful meal served by attentive staff who helped with the afternoon entertainment and made it an experience to remember anyone wanting g to go here for afternoon tea as a group cannot find a better place to go. Thank you to Bill and staff for a wonderful afternoon.

Place is comfortable and staff friendly overall welcoming. Food is tastey and enough you do not leave feeling empty. Entertainer had a good voice, there is a little of everything dancing, bingo a raffle, plus a shop and bar plus you can order a tea or coffee if you don't drink. Once you have been you feel like you are a member of the family each time you go back. They are disabled friendly!

Had a great time, music bang on, got everyone up and dancing. We need more of these venues, some of our ladies and gentlemen with the beginning of dementia were up dancing singing with other guests, Faces smiling, singing songs long gone but never forgotten, a day to remember and look back on. A magnificent thank you to the hosts and staff of Ryecroft Hall for a superb day..As all are sleeping soundly in there beds, just maybe dreaming of a great day..

It was the first time for a few of us, but we all enjoyed the whole experience. The staff helpfully and full of beans, the entertainment and food was fantastic. We visited here for Mothers Day afternoon tea. The staff were absolutely excellent, professional and friendly. As my wife is disabled we had special requirements for wearing and nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea itself was an absolute treat and one of the best we have had. I thoroughly recommend coming here either for an afternoon treat or an exceptional dining experience. UPDATE Another visit and the same excellent food and service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Visited for the first time on Mother's Day and we had the Afternoon Tea, it was their "Quirky" version - arranged on a miniature wooden bench in miniature teacups, jars, etc we enjoyed the delights of soup, pate, prawn cocktails, sandwiches, fish and chips and more. This was then followed with an array of desserts. Needless to say it was delightful and very filling. The staff are very good and even made some additional options when asked if they could make a different sandwich. Price wise it's not cheap - at £17 per person the bill can quickly add up. It was however an enjoyable experience. In addition to their afternoon teas they have a bar with seating area and a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. Booking is advisable.
