Been meaning to try Bridge42 for a while and wasn't disappointed. We were a party of 4 and opted for one of four booths which comfortably seated us. What can I say about this place other than wow! Perfect place to spend a special intimate occasion, such as our wedding anniversary. Staff were attentive yet unobtrussive, which is hard to do. Food was delicious and we only left some because we wanted to have room for their deserts. The cheesecake
Have been back several times. Same owners and menu as the ship at Elswick. The steaks, pies and the juicy Lucy burger have all been good. I'd avoid the potato wedge upgrades as each one is about quarter of a potato. Regular chips are much better! All reasonably priced as well. The Sunday lunches ar
Lovely atmosphere, lovely food, steak and burgers cooked to perfection, desserts were beautifully presented and just as tasty as the food, large portions, friendly and helpful staff, would definitely come back! Only criticism, the heating needs turning up a tad!

Absolutely beautifully presented cuisine delivered in an lovely tranquil resturant. Prices seriously don't do the chef n staff justice. Truely a must, literally for any occassion.
Had scallops and black pudding and a steak. Absolutely fantastic. Wife had chicken skewers which were well presented and cooked just right.
