Genuinely the best Sunday roast I have had at a pub. A beautiful pub, fantastic food and exceptional service! From the moment we walked in we were looked after. The manager Micky is truly a gent and did everything to make us feel comfortable and we ended up having a roast hen we only went in for a drink. He even got me a little pot of the horseradish that I had with the beef as I loved it and was also absolutely great with my son. The beef was perfect along with fantastic roast potatoes, a large well made Yorkshire pudding and lots and lots of gravy which is normally what let's other roasts down. I have booked mother's day and will be going next week as they have a great deal on for half term. I urge web everyone to go and experience a top quality country pub with great hospitality and a fantastic fresh menu!

Thisis a hidden gem in one of the beautiful corners of the country. Just off the trough of Bowland this pub serves excellent local produce and some of the best pies in the country. Well worth the drive for an afternoon or evening meal. PS the beer is excellent as well.

Genuinely one of the best pie and chips I’ve ever had! Superb steak and ale pie and awesome chips. Warm welcome, great beer and lots of attention and biscuits for the naughty dog Highly recommended and definitely worth a trip to visit. See you again soon guys - getting better every time we come!

Found this gem of a pub on our travels. Lovely location and super clean and cared for. Kim is very lovely and the menu is amazing, the additions available are great. Well looked after and vegan options were huge! More than the menu shows. All local source made there and then and tasty, we got vegan coleslaw made for us. Would recommend to everyone and be in that neck of the woods again so we can go back! Thank you everyone for the hospitality

I have been on holiday for the week and found 'The Green Man' and I would definitely recommend a visit. As soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed by the friendly staff and homely atmosphere. The pub is spotless, nice drinks, spectacular views and very dog friendly! I havent ate here yet but from what i have seen it looks amazing. I wish I lived closer.

Absolutely lovely place. Stopped off for something to eat with the other half. Don't even know where to start. I can safely say it's the cleanest place we've stopped for food in recent months .. not a cobweb or spec of dust in sight. Greeted with a warm friendly welcome by one of the owners Kim I think it was. Lovely lady very personable and definitely the hostess with the mostest. Starters: we had the goats cheese and the pate .. the goats cheese was lovely and light and fluffy. Pate was delicious not to strong and a good bread to pate ratio. Mains: We sampled the pies from the specials menu I had chicken, ham hock and shallot pie and the fella had haggis and beef .. both were very tasty, the pastry just melted in the mouth. I don't even like haggis but I loved the pie. We also tried the beef Sunday roast and the BBQ pork which came with coleslaw, chips and salad. The beef was lovely and tender, really well cooked. Loved the little bowl of side veg that was brought out with it .. the parsnips and cauliflower tasted devine. Bbq pork cooked well again knife slid through the pork. The coleslaw was really nice and the home made chips were tasty. Beautiful place, amazing staff, tasty food. Amazing afternoon, looking forward to going back and sampling the Autumn menu Thanks for a lovely afternoon kim

This is a really nice pub in the beautiful Trough of Bowland. The staff were excellent on my visit and I really enjoyed the Steak and Ale pie. This place is well worth a visit if you're in the area. I'd come again.

We visited here for the first time after a walk with the dog and it was absolutely lovely! It is also dog friendly and both Kim and Alfie were so accommodating with our dog and in general. The food menu was great, plenty of veggie and vegan options too and all the food was locally sourced and cooked to order. Between us we had a burger, a couple of pies and the halloumi and it was all delicious and we couldn't fault a thing. 10/10 for both food and service, we will definitely be returning :)

Lovely friendly staff and fabulous food what more can you ask for. We had the Sunday different meats on offer and selection of pies I opted for the beef and haggis pie and it was excellent. I love the family bowl of veg in the middle of the table and good size portions. Thankyou.😊

You will leave The Green Man a very happy chappy after eating their gorgeous home cooked delights. The steak and ale pie was succulent as was the haggis. The service was a little slow but overall I enjoyed my lunch. Hats off to the chef!

Took the dogs down to Brock Bottoms. Went to GreenMan afterwards for a well-deserved cold drink. We were only passing, so we shared a bowl of chips, and kids got the apple crumble and chocolate brownie. Made really welcome. Staff came out and gave dogs a treat. The main boss lady is really welcoming and overheard another customer saying I'm too full. The boss replied rather give you more than less. Great attitude!! They had the roast dinner. Looked amazing. Brilliant place. Definitely go back for a main meal next time.

We went to the Green Man Pub at Inglewhite Preston last Thursday for a meal. We both had a Battered Goats Cheese Starter. I had a Steak Pie and my boyfriend had a Chicken Burger. Very good value as was half price with a food special offer on Thursday and Friday which I think they are still offering if you book before Wednesday night. Well worth a phone call to check.
