A lovely place to visit, with excellent staff, nice ales too
Old traditional country pub - not many of those left now. Not a wide choice of food at lunchtime but our meals were good. I can certainly recommend the rsapberry crumble. Draught beer good too - a Thwaites pub. Landlady and her assistant were very welcoming and cheerful. It has been closed on and of
Called on a Sunny Bank holiday for lunch. Food & service was excellent. Can highly recommend.
Newly opened I had the Man's head burger, very tasty. The best thing is the triple cooked chips!! There's a lovely atmosphere and the Doggy Dora is so sweet and cute and lovely and she visited us frequently to check on us and she was making lots of friends. She's very well groomed and smelled nice.

Our local is back open, which is great for the area. Food is brilliant and the service and welcome is exceptional! Looking forward to visiting again.
Delicious. It's only a small pub, but it was lovely and cosy inside and the staff were very friendly. I had the salt and pepper chicken which which wasn't particularly salt or peppery but the chicken was delicious and so were the fried and gravy. The garlic with cheese is definitely worth a try, I w
