Came here randomly on the way home. Place itself is gorgeous both outside and in. Love the huge beer garden looking over the fields with a couple of cute outside booths for 4 people.
Staff were friendly if not very chatty.
Food was nice and my only complaint here was that the menu itself didn't have a big enough variety to choose from.
Nice place to go to have a bite to eat and a beer. Pub done up lovely inside. We sat outside when we visited as it was a sunny day. Plenty of outside tables at front and rear, we also took our dogs as it’s dog friendly.
Food was good but not fantastic, fish was very greasy from been fried. Chicken burger was tasty. I had soup to start which was lovely.
Staff were friendly, but service at bar slow.
Worth a visit.
Absolutely amazing lunch! Over in England for 10 days and have been to many “gastro” pubs, but this place has been the best by a million miles. The food here is delicious and the service and atmosphere 100%.
I had scallops for entree and they were perfect, then a lamb Wellington, again delicious and the best sticky date pudding I have ever eaten!
Kids food was generous and fresh too! Plus they have an adventure playground and lots of things to do for the kids!
Service was quick and very friendly!
The pub is light, airy with amazing decoration and furniture and stunning outdoor area with the most beautiful flowers!

Went for my birthday with my work colleagues, the food was fabulous and the staff were great . The setting inside and out is so lovely and a credit to the owners ,it was my first visit and hope to go with my family soon .

What a great pub! The food choice was great, and the decor and space both inside and out was fantastic. But our night was made by the amazing service and hospitality we received and most especially by Aga. She was fantastic, very professional and such a happy lovely way about her. It was a pleasure for our family of 7 to be there with her.

I went here with my wife and five 10 year old boys for my son's birthday. We had been to Blackpool for the day and were looking for a nice pub to stop at on the way home.
The service was excellent and everyone was happy to accommodated the children and birthday requirements without any issues. We had a great time, the food was better than expected and was enjoyed by everyone. The place was clean and had a friendly atmosphere with lots of families and groups enjoying the day.
I would definitely recommend this to others and am looking forward to visiting again.

Super impressed with the food we ate at The Eagle. We both opened for the steak sandwich with upgraded chips/fries. I absolutely loved the thick cut truffle chips and could have eaten loads more. I was stuffed after the meal though and sadly couldn't fit in a dessert..I did see some on the next table to us though and they looked incredible so we will definitely have to eat again. Staff and ambience were superb too.

Superb family usual pre Christmas meal out at the Eagle. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. Lynn the lady who served us deserves a gold star ( hope i spelt your name correct) Lynn. More than worth a visit or even a re-visit.

Amazing food, reasonable wait time. Service excellent, especially when I received a slice of birthday cake complete with candle and singing waiter....surprise. value for money in lovely surroundings. Highly recommended. Only down was a better choice of zero alcohol beers needed but that's personal preference.
First time here and will return! Met with friends for a late dinner and it was very good. Quite busy for a Friday evening which is always a good sign. We tried a range of meat and vegetarian items and all were very nice.
The decor is lovely, the staff are friendly and efficient and the food was very good. Nice portion sizes, not overwhelming but not skinny either. I felt we received value for money. All in all, it was really good and we will go again.

Very good food though pulls no punches with the prices. I had a 'plaice schnitzel' which was the size.of a plate with a mushroom and asparagus sauce. It was excellent. 4 casks including Bass and Landlord. Nice children's play area surrounded by old Ash trees so sheltered from the sun. More restaurant than pub but recommended as both.
Friendly staff great service and piping hot food very tasty definitely be going back
