4 generations together for a family lunch together.
Great food - tasty & well presented.
Service - polite, efficient & attentive.
Not so busy as we dined early, so atmosphere not as lively as usual.
Clean plates all round & everyone happy & full!

starter - we had mussels , very fresh and the sauce were amazing. Meat ball, really great and the sauce made it when more better. Fried calamari, was okay but little bit too chewy in my opinion. Tomato and mozzarella salad- fresh tomato and great mozzarella was out of this world!
Main- couldn’t fault it! Everything we try was really good. Spaghetti were perfectly cook and the sauce are out of this world!
Pizza are also great that’s stone baked , you can really smell and taste the wood that they’re using.
Risotto , really light and creamy but very felling.
Over all the main are great but please keep in mind that it is pretty big.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here with my wife and toddler. The staff were super friendly and great with the little one, she absolutely loved it. The food came very quickly and was tasty. I was happy to see clearly marked vegan options on the menu too, it made ordering much easier.
Very noisy especially staff laughing and joking, plus music loud. Not a relaxing atmosphere for dining especially when you can't carry on a conversation. Food was excellent as was service but the noise was enough for me not to return, which is a shame.
We went to Salvatore's on Saturday evening as a party of 14, celebrating our friend's 70th Birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the food and service were excellent. We will definitely be booking again, very soon.
Lovely restaurant. I went with 5 friends for a celebration meal. The waitress was very nice and wasn't annoyed at us for taking the time to wonder what to have. The food that came out was lovely. I have the bruschetta which simple with fresh bread and tomatoes. My main was lovely the fresh vegetables and potatoes were divine. After 4 weeks of meat and potatoes this was a treat. Dessert was lovely. I had a cheesecake. We reserved for 530 and told we could only stay until 730. We were a little over this however they didn't push us or make us feel like we had to leave right away. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Really enjoyed our last meal up in Lancashire. So thank you. Highly recommended. Only took this image as I was hungry 😂
Superb food, staff were very friendly helpful and professional, very accommodating. Would highly recommend going here, though if you would like to talk as a group, then you best sit outside on the decking, as they seem to have live entertainment, which is often seemingly very loud, Really really good experience and look forward to going again.

I really wanted to rate this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars, but our evening was somewhat spoilt by the excessively loud live music. Personally I want to chat with friends when out eating and this was impossible. Everything else about the place was fantastic. Really delicious food.

Salvatores has been a staple place to eat at in Penwortham for many years. However, after the sad passing of Salvatore himself, the family have invested in and rejuvenated this already great Italian and given it a new lease of life. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is fantastic. Being a local resident, I have eaten here many times over the years and I can honestly say I gave never had a bad meal here. I am pleased to say that the changes have not negatively impacted this establishment but only enhanced it. A nod to Salvatore himself can be seen in the photographs on the wall and the heart and soul of the restaurant are still intact. However there is a modern freshness to the place providing a comfortable and welcoming environment that should see this place last for many years to come.

Had lovely meal there for a family birthday celebration. Food was delivered promptly by polite and attentive staff. Pizza was lovely.
What a wonderful dining experience we had at Salvatore's. Covid restrictions were in place when we went so they have created an amazing outside dining space with heaters for chilly times. The food was delicious, I had a new menu addition, mushroom risotto which had an array of many different mushrooms and the taste was superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for food, atmosphere and service. We will be returning soon.

The best thing I can say about Sals is that it's just as good as my favourite restaurant in my home town. Always a welcoming atmosphere and the food is tremendous. Going again on Friday and can't wait. The best.
