Although the hotel could do with a lick of paint I found it clean and comfortable, the room was very quiet so good night's sleep. The shower could have done with a bit more pressure but was adequate.
The greeting by the receptionist was very welcoming and every time I saw her she was bubbly and smiling. The breakfasts were very good.
I will stay here again.
The food was lovely and Katie was really nice and helpful, very friendly. The guy on the bar was friendly and looked after us also, I didn’t catch his name.

Nice food, fairly priced. Vegetarian and pescatarian options lacking and uninspiring. Staff are polite, some need to smile more. Clean overall but looking worn out in some areas.

It's a good friendly eat-in pub. Good menu, with some vegetarian/vegan choices, good priced food. The staff are lovely, friendly, helpful.

We've been going to Greene King at Leagate Preston for years. It became our family restaurant 🍴 we go at least once a week. Never had any issues with the quality of food. Staff always very friendly and helpful. It's great to have the menu changed just frequent enough but not too dramatic each time. So we always have the food we each like to order. Most importantly the prices are very reasonable and the business still shows appreciation for emergency service staff by giving Bluelight discounts.
All in all we are so pleased we have Leagate just the down the road from us.

1 or 2 problems but Jane the receptionist managed to sort out she was fantastic so we will definitely be going back hope Jane got the flowers we left at reception as she wasn't due on till 2 o'clock as we booked out after breakfast.

Was really good to be fair on my first visit, friendly, good value for money and food was spot on. Was a problem with the steak but hey didn't hesitate to change and came back out with a whole new meal with steak which was brilliant. Will be visiting again

New chef @lea Gate, and you can tell. We go out every week, and it was mediocre at best, but this week was definitely different. Before asking the manager the question, I knew the answer: " excuse me, do you have a new chef?" Answer: "yes we do!" The meal was cooked to perfection, rarely do I get a steak cooked exactly the way I like it, unless I cook it myself. It was busier than usual which obviously says something about the change in quality. No complaints, at all. Just hope it lasts.

Friendly greetings and lovely spacious rooms! Food is amazing and have gluten free options too, and prices are awesome for a budgeting family like ours. Also staff are very understanding when it comes to children with difficulties and they made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be staying again.
