The atmosphere only gets as it's a takeaway that said the food is good. I live near a Chinese takeaway but would rather travel to this one the food doesn't seem to be padded out with large chunks of veg. Give them a chance if you want a takea way .

Tried here on my sisters recommendation and glad I did it’s our new favourite for Chinese food, everything is tasty and delicious- piping hot and ready on time can not recommend it enough! ( I saw the old reviews online and can definitely say they no longer stand we have had food from here twice this week!)

Hands down best Chinese in Preston let alone Penwortham, highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken in batter its truly awesome, the sauce is the best I've had 😋

Good to see a Chinese restaurant selling vegetarian 'chicken' / mock meat as it's not on the menu in a lot of restaurants. Fairly priced, too. Only downside was the thirst afterwards, possibly caused by MSG.

Tasty food that is reasonably price, its a takeaway so there's not really an atmosphere and I find that the level of spice is inconsistent, sometimes its blow your socks off, other time it's mild and dull.

We had a pleasant take away from this place as we were passing through.
Service was quick, the food was nice enough, portions are very generous, we could probably have shared one meal instead of ordering 1 each.
It is cash only, and there is a bank machine 2 mins across the road, if, like me, you never carry cash.

Great Chinese, but this time food was bland and under seasoned. Thus the 4 stars.
I always order the s+p chicken breadt strips but had a hard time finishing them due to this! Hopefully next time I'll just ask for extra seasononing

I went to Penwortham Chop Suey House tonight on Liverpool Road in Penwortham.
Normally I order the Chicken in battered balls with boiled rice.
However tonight I ordered the Chicken with sweetcorn and boiled rice.
And it was a most enjoyable meal.
The staff at Penwortham Chop Suey House are very efficient at processing your order.
I would recommend a visit to Penwortham Chop Suey House on Liverpool Road in Penwortham.
