It's our local chippy and while it is on the expensive side I would rather have a chippy that serves good portions and good food that's worth it and Mister Eaters certainly does!
Fish is always huge and the chips are perfection! Mushy peas can be hit or miss but it's personal taste.
Best fish and chips in this area. Generous portions served with a smile.

The Best Fish & Chip Shop anywhere in Preston, South Ribble area by far. I would even say it could be the definitely Top 3 in the North West. I have been a many Fish & Chips shops and always left feeling guilty for spending so much money on poor or average food. Not here and Mr Eaters, every penny is worth it, golden battered cod/haddock, even Haggis... they will deep fry virtually anything for you and it will come out the other side 5 stars. Hands down to this couple who have kept the excellent standards of a British Fish & Chip shop, I can guarantee you'll not leave here disappointed and you will definitely be going back for more!!
Great chippy never had a problem, I've not been going here long because i was going to another that was a chippy for 60 years but now retired so Mister Eaters as been my go to chippy and as i said never had a problem its really nice and in fact i'll be going in about 15 minutes.
High recommended if you live in the area or passing by.

Excellent quality and quantity. I had started to lose faith in the great British chippy as we have had so many average fish and chip meals lately. Glad to say it's still alive and very well here. Well done.
Family run business, wicked ideas of food and really good quality. Isn't just a chippy dose absorbs of grub from chicken curry to chilli con carnie and what ever marvellous ideas he has.

Fantastic chippy. Has always maintained its quality. If it can be battered you'll find in on the menu. If not they will give it a try.

This is a jewel of a place. Unfortunately there really aren’t many family ran establishments left in our country these days, great honest food, great banter with the guys. I wish I had one local to where I live,m!

Went in Mr Eater for 2 haddock, one with chips a four potato scollops. Amazing! The fish must have been 8-10oz Great price when you think of the price of fish these days too. They also do haggis supper! As a Scotsman reminded me of the Scottish chippies. All he would have to do is get a recipe for white pudding or do red pudding, mock chops or chipsteaks and my life would be complete and I wouldn't have to pig out in Scottish chippies when I go north.
White pudding is simple to make but if not in a skin can be tricky to do in batter.
Oatmeal, onion, allspice and seasoning (veggie/vegan also). Can get a recipe on line easily. Hard to get real oatmeal though.

Great quality chippy but a little expensive. They have a large menu choice catering for most people's tastes. The staff are friendly and the place was very clean.
After riding my motorbike all day I needed some food what better than a good chippy and this is a good un I got fish and scollops delish but there was something extra the service very polite with a smile and when I went they said thank you to me, a rare find these days
