Upstairs is nice, cute vibe.
It's bar service so you find a table on your own then go order.
If you sit by the door you can smell people smoking outside.
Bathrooms are cute, with adorable sinks.
Lock for the toilet stall was a bit tricky, I put it to being new.
Selection of sauces on table, I like the garlic Chipotle.
Both me and my partner had a burrito, so light I can throw it up in the air like it's nothing π
Sadly Dry ! Just meat, rice and beans on there. Definitely needs cheese or sour cream or guac or salsa, just something else with moisture. Not to say it wasn't a very nice tasting burrito, because it was a good flavour, I had the beef one.
Nice guac! As apposed to their counter part restaurant wings and beer Co, which it just a funky green sauce π
Nachos are delightful ! The small portion was enough for 2 I think.
I didn't have one of their many cocktails but I will be coming back to try them next time!
New outstanding place in Preston! Had a pleasant experience at Taco & Tequila on busy Friday night. Big cocktail menu, fresh hot food, friendly staff members. Would recommend this place πΆπ―
We ordered 2 burritos and nachos.
The nachos where lovely! Fresh tasting guac and salsa! With a nacho cheese sauce(similar to that at the cinemas), would probably get again!
The burritos.. where very light and only consisted of the filling you choose (vegan duck in my case) and rice. So there isn't a whole lot to the burrito. The mock duck was lovely and the rice tasted nice, it looked like there might have been an attempt to put some refried beans in there but hardly any. The entire burrito was extremely dry even the sauces at the table couldn't help!! Β£8 for a burrito. I expect some extras in there like guac/salsa/some veg maybe. Just something to give it some moisture and heft! Noone likes a light burrito.
The included sauces at the table where nice, with a decent variation.!
Overall it was an alright experience. But if we where to come again I think it might just be to try the cocktails and have some more nachos.
1st time visiting here, got to say what a lovely place this is. Love the colourful decor. Service was prompt & very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious without hesitation will definitely visit again.

Partner suggested we try this venue. I've never done a taco experience before. We arrived and were greeted by the host who asked if we had experienced the place before. After letting hist know we hadn't he kindly explained the information we needed. Ordered the lunch special each burritos one with pulled beef the other pulled pork we shared each others. Service great, given time to taste the food which was nice as in many establishments as soon as you've got it they've turned round and come back whilst your mouth is full of food. Food was piping hot tasty although I'd prefer a little more sauce on the pork but that's me it wasn't a criticism. Definitely will be back with offers of 2 for 1 mocktails and cocktails food is worth the money and service fantastic. Considering what we paid for lunch special at an independent restaurant we paid more at burger king a few days later, very poor considering what we ate at taco n tequila. Thank you for a great lunch for two people ππππ
I've gotten food from here a total of 3 times recently and it has rapidly become one of my favourite spots in Preston!
The venue makes you feel like you're sat in the middle of a western bar, you feel the vibes and energy of a fiesta flowing through the entire local!
The food, is some of the best Mexican food I've eaten, and the wide range of drinks and cocktails as well as the deals they constantly have up and around make this place a must visit!
Fab place. Food was excellent and the cocktails were even better. Staff very friendly and helpful.
