Pennypit swing park is good for small people. The center has cafe, playgroup and educational classes and youth cafes you need to check it out with fine range of beer and hot cold drinks and snacks. There is a rugby pitch, football pitch with stands. Two astro turf pitches and a running track

PITSTOP CAFE. Fantastic freshly made food at very reasonable prices. Great selection - full breakfasts, breakfast rolls, soup, sandwiches, light lunch dishes and daily specials. Yummy cakes, traybakes and other yummies all made on the premises. Proper barista coffee machine. Lucas ice cream - loads of different flavours. Very child friendly with highchairs available. Friendly and helpful staff. All provided by the lovely Lorna, who brought All Mixed Up Baking goodies to the East Lothian and Edinburgh area. Highly recommended. 😊

The pennypit center has a cafe and supports a lot of teenage and adult and toddler groups. They also do maths and English lessons and kids meal in cafe. Further up past the sports fields there a decent toddler play park

Watched Preston Lodge RFC play here Friendly club with great members. Especially enjoyed the tea/coffee/hot chocolate stand which kept the cold Pentland Hills wind at bay!!
