Loved this restaurant. I have ordered food to be delivered before but never been to the restaurant until now. I recommend booking a table as it was busy, even at 6.30pm on a Monday evening. It's a BYOB and there is no corkage charge. There are dishes on the menu, as well as old favourites that you would likely see in any Middle Eastern/Turkish or Greek restaurant.
The service was excellent and we never felt rushed. We opted for 3 different starters, mains, 2 desserts and Arabia coffee. The whole lot came to £57 without tip. Waiters were happy to give suggestions on tips. We both had lamb and it was probably the best lamb I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. It just fell apart. The atmosphere was great as was the background music.
All in all Remal is one of the best restaurants, of which there are a lot, in Prestwich. I will definitely be back.
Our safest place ever!
I said Safe because the food is always have same taste which is wonderful and we know what we ganna have!
Highly recommended!
29/08/23: our experience this time was good. Our previous 2 times were not so good. Our first time the food was bland and the service was terrible. Our second time the food ws better. This time I must say we really enjoyed our meal. My review has bee edited accordingly and stars have been increased. I had Sojouk (lamb sausages) & Jubna Panne (fried camembert) to start. Chef's Spicy Mix (chicken & lamb kebabs on rice) & Remal's Special Chicken for main. Turkish Delight & Créme Dessert for dessert.
Well first time visit for a Birthday, nice atmosphere. Had a couple of issues and to be fair, they were rushed off their feet. All sorted immediately ! Food is great, as are the staff, what a lovely manager (rare these days).
There were 7 of us with different tastes but we all found something great off the menu to enjoy.
Will definitely visit again very soon, book quickly as they are always busy.
Tremendous evening here with friends for my wife's birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service on point and I didn't feel rushed at any point. Well worth a visit and nit just for meat lovers, plenty of delicious vegetarian options.
We will be going back.
Understated appearance on the outside hides a little gem of a restaurant. Menus are varied with a good variety of dishes from the Middle East at very reasonable prices. Everything is served with the most delightful mini pitta breads which are worth a visit on their own. You have to take your own alcohol with you but that wasn't an issue and in fact, kept the cost down. I can see the Remal becoming a regular haunt going forward.
We had a great time.
The service was good
The good was great. Only regret We made the mistake of asking for non spicy good.
So, I found the food too bland. Hence the 4*
Loved the decor .
Would definitely come again.
I had quite high expectations for this place. The place itself is beautiful, I like the interior + the starters were great - definitely recommend Mix Mezze Platter, Kibbah and Tabbouleh (the best I’ve ever tried). However, the mains were honestly average - not many spices unfortunately. Remel’s Fateh 7/10, Chef’s Mix 7/10, Muklubieh 6/10, Lamb Chops 5/10
First time visiting and was so impressed.
Food was really lovely, portions very generous.
Homemade bread is the best ever.
Staff were all nice and our server was absolutely lovely.
Will be visiting lots more.👍
We love it here! Been around 6 times now and have enjoyed every single bit of food I have been served. Beautiful surroundings and great service always. 😌
