Review Three Horseshoes Public House - Princethorpe

Dropped in for a late lunch...Nice greeting from hostess, chose the cheese and meat sharer but forgot photo...oops. Served on a large slate plate included grapes, various crackers, sweet jelly, hummus, apple sauce, several types of cheese and salami type meats and ham. Wonderful lunch for 2 but husband would eat whole platter himself if ordered as a main dinner course. They also sell Portuguese custard tarts...yummy! Sat outside in garden, very pleasant even though its by a main road as set higher up. We'd visit again.

First time here. Visited as it was half way for a friends meet up. Place was lovely and clean. Had a pleasant welcome and very friendly serving staff. Food came out very promptly and was well presented. Main meal was very nice and the desserts were divine! Toilets were also very clean. It was really nice to be out for a meal again. I’m sure we will be back.

Lovely decorated Pub, with a fantastic atmosphere and the home cooked always fresh Portuguese/Mediterranean food is fantastic. High quality coffee and superb english breakfast.

A lovely pub and Ashley who served us went beyond and served us chips after the kitchen had closed for my nephew.

Great friendly, service. Delicious vegan meal of lentil daal with vegetable bhaji, followed by an absolutely delicious peanut butter chocolate tart with ice cream. Several vegetarian options. Great value, nice traditional pub, will definitely be returning.

Went here for lunch today. The board outside says delicious Portuguese food and although we had belly pork it was cooked to perfection and very more-ish. Lovely fries with it too. The staff were friendly and accommodating and we had an enjoyable time there. Definitely on the return visit list.

I had lunch there today, Sunday 20/09/20. Staff - very friendly, professional and polite and your treated like a normal person. Top marks. Food - One of the best roast Sunday dinners I've had and the desert, black forest gateau was outstanding. I am not really a desert person but that was absolutely delicious. Price - £10 for a Sunday roast is the best value around and I did not have to wash the dishes. I had the pleasure of eating at this out of the way public house which serves home cooked food and I can thoroughly recommend it anyone to also pay a visit if you like good food, friendly staff and a pleasure atmosphere. The weather was pretty good on the day on my visit also which made the experience so much more pleasurable. I would love to write a bad review in the hope the very few would attend, this would be purely on a selfish basis, only to ensure that I can again secure a table for Sunday dinner. It is very rare that I write reviews, however, I am pleased to report that this place has impressed me that I have already recommended it to family members and I will be booking a table next Sunday and many more. To the owners and staff at The Three Horseshoes, thank you . See you soon.

Food was good but nothing special, I'd expect a little better for the price. The staff member was friendly and helpful and served us at the table efficienty.

Tim and his team are running a fantastic pub which was able to cater to our large group with ease. Food was great and drinks really reasonable.

Enjoyed my lunch here. Beautiful little pub with a good menu. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. The food was very nicely cooked and a good potion size for the price paid. Couldn't have asked for more. Sadly I didn't have opportunity to check the availability of beers and spirits in any great detail but from what I did see it looked like a good selection. I would very much recommend trying this place out for lunch.

Wow not been here for a long time , it has now been totally done out inside ,very nicely decorated and clean . The food was all cooked fresh and very well presented and tasty , it's a little more expensive than most , but then if you like real home cooked food and good beer it's well worth it , now the question is would I come again and the answer is definitely I will , definitely recommend stopping by eating inside or out and just chilling 👍

Last minute decision to eat out but so glad we ate here. Beer battered cod was fantastic and you must try the Sticky Chocolate Orange. All the staff very pleasant and attentive, will definitely return.

Great pub with fresh beer, traditional ales, good wines and a surprisingly good kitchen! Plenty of space inside and outside makes this the perfect resting place for the traveller. If you are tired, then it is no problem to stay for the night, rooms are quite okay here (beds are great, furniture needs some attention). Overall: great place to stay!

Great food, friendly in staff.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff. Plenty of space in the garden and good quality food although a limited menu. Deco and service greatly improved with the latest management.
