Lovely pub... very welcoming lady behind the bar..
Had the lunchtime beef and horseradish sandwich with a side portion of chips...
A little disappointed that didn't get a choice of bread, looked like just med sliced white bread from supermarket, which is fine if advised...but for the price I expected a little more..
Again,not alot of sandwich for the price, but on the upside,large portion of lovely chunky chips!

This is a great village pub, popular with locals and always very welcoming to visitors. Great food with the best value being fish n chips on a Friday (2 for £20). Beer garden with live music - check Facebook page.

Food brilliant, the service was good, however we were sat in the bar area and it was very noisy,which spoiled the evening a little but the food made up for that, next time we will ask for a quieter area if possible.

Nice lunch time food options. Lovely cheese and ham omelette. Cloudy Lemon infused Thatchers cider was a hit on a hot day out in the beer garden too. Young man serving was very polite and attentive. Good experience.

Fantastic place to eat. Food was lovely and a hefty portion as well.
The owners were really friendly and welcoming. Even made our two dogs very welcome.

What a fabulous pub. Great to see it so busy. Locals enjoying a good pint. The food looked delicious too.

I dropped in near the end of a days walking and was warmly welcomed by the landlady who kindly filed my water bottles and let me charge my phone for a quick half hour boost. I enjoyed a leisurely half of Proper Job an pleasant chat with some locals. I would be happy to recommend this pub.
