Very well priced garden with a lovely and reasonably priced tearoom. I think it may depend on the time of year as to the plant interest in the garden, but hydrangeas were beautiful, as were the tree ferns. I found some unusual plants to buy. For me, there could have been better signage.
Trewithen is lovely sprawling gardens set in a huge country estate. They are beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean.
We spent the day there and thoroughly enjoyed it. All the staff were lovely too, and a credit to the gardens and Cornwall in general.
A beautiful lush Spring garden to have a nice relaxed walk in. Beautiful fountain, wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Clean bathrooms and a lovely tea garden.
Lunch is only served 12-2pm, looked up online first and nowhere specified lunch serving time. Was a little disappointed as turned up at 2:20pm and no cream teas (ran out). What a lovely place to visit! The gardens were beautiful with amazing shrubs. The house tour guide was very friendly and informative. The friendly robin at the cafe was an amazing bonus too! Thoroughly recommended for a gentle afternoons outing.
An absolutely lovely gardens, with a superb selection of trees, rhododendron, azalea and camelia.
Nice tea room too. If you are taking young children, there are several fairy doors dotted around for them to discover
Lovely gardens. Had lunch in the tea room there. My only question is about serving food in takeaway boxes. Surely having food served on reusable good old fashioned crockery is better. Although the takeaway boxes are recyclable they still have to be manufactured, and they are only single use.
A hidden gem and well worth a trip. We spent a Sunday afternoon wandering around the varied grounds. The silent garden was wonderful and it is heartening to see their work with red squirrels.
The shed cafe does a fantastic cream tea, too!
First time here since arriving in Cornwall in December. So lucky to have this on our doorstep. Had a wander round these lovely gardens and got coffee, cake and the collected a take away cream tea and some cut flowers from the gardens for Mother's Day. Sun was shining, what more could you ask for.

Lovely gardens especially at this time of year with lots of camellias and magnolias, rhododendrons and azaleas to be admired...lovely cafe too...
Lots of trees and shrubs are in full bloom. Looking splendid. Very quiet and The Shed offers a covered area to enjoy a coffee as well as outdoor tables.

Privately owned and run estate for 300+ years. £10 p.p. entry to the gardens that are lush and secluded with a wide array of shrubs and trees. Extensive gravel paths to make the best of these exhibits. Perhaps could do with a few features like a waterfall, statues etc to set it off more. "Tea shed"
