Me and my husband always enjoy our visits to The Blue Vinny whether it's just for a drink or to eat. We have especially enjoyed the new addition of the pizza oven & ice cream machine, delicious...we will definitely be regulars for pizza and ice cream. Always a friendly & welcoming reception from staff and other regular customers. Thank you

It's our local, consistently great food, consistently great staff. Definitely recommend for either a meal or pop in to have a drink. Great garden for the kids to run around in too.

Love this place and last nights meal was not a disappointment. Beef carpaccio to start for me - tasty, tender served with a punchy garlic aioli. OH had cream of broccoli soup with a Blue Vinney cheese crouton. My main was pork belly with a smashing gooseberry chutney which cut right through the fat of the pork. OH had breast of pheasant which he thoroughly enjoyed. Pub was busy with diners but service was quick & staff very friendly. If you are in the area do give The Blue Vinney a try.

Some time since we'd eaten here, as our daughter no longer lives out here, but food and staff just as good as it ever was, and by the number of people coming in to eat, the reputation just keeps on spreading.

Our first Sunday lunch here and we've booked to come back in a couple of weeks. It's a lovely pub, great atmosphere and the roast beef and pork lunches were superb. The youngsters serving behind the bar and waiting on the tables were top notch; polite, efficient and attentive. Well kept ale (Butcombe) was a further bonus! We can't wait for our next visit.

Great find, whilst on a weekend away in Dorset. Lovely fire but the real gem was the food. Simply wow. Well done guys. Highly recommended

31 laminated signs. What's going on there? Great service and Vinny burger but the weird sign fetish is sadly it's most memorable feature. 31.....

Wonderful fish curry, much nicer than expected. Very dog-friendly - beer garden has plenty of space for dog to potter about. Great pub.

Fantastic village pub. Food is really good and the beer garden is large and has a good play area. You can take your dogs in the beer garden too as long as they are kept on a lead. Doom Bar was on tap last time. Pizza oven looks tempting too.

Menu correct March 2019 Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice staff happy to have a chat or leave you too it, dedicated menus for diary and gluten free reasonably well priced nice selection of beers and ales. Garden area is a little scruffy but it was early spring so not really used, plenty of heaters in a covered porch area out back for smokers and the like. Had ham eggs and chips which was very good.
