Visited The White Hart Pulborough today 29/10/23 for a Sunday Lunch. Wish I'd found this place years ago. The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, the staff are supper friendly and accommodating, and I would waste no time recommending here and will do to many people. We will certainly be returning on a regular basis. Thanks guys

WHAT A TASTY BURGER! Infact ALL the food is awesome and the Ale is divine. We go each week to go for some paddleboarding along the river. We pre order so when we come back our food arrives quite quickly. Which is adds to the great service. Location is amazing and though there is a main road adjacent the pub oozes calm and relaxed atmosphere. If you are using the river access the Owner requests that you Do Not Park in the car park as it is quite small and his customers who are coming and going need that space. I suggested he charges a £10-20 launch fee for river users. There is space in the road for 30+ cars.

Lovely food and a lovely venue. Good service and tasty food. Well priced and a nice location. Parking can be a little busy, but that shouldn't put you off

Four of us had a delicious lunch here with prompt, friendly and efficient service. We were seated outside overlooking the river, a lovely setting. All our mains and puds were very much enjoyed with well kept beers and nice wines. Highly recommend and we will visit again.

Very nice placce to eat, food service excellent. Tables just a tad to close to each other as building is small and old but worth a visit. You can use river for paddle boards have a drink in this senic setting!

We arrived wondering how we were going to get the wheelchair in but Megan, our soon to be waitron, leapt into action and offered to assist us. This set the tone for the kind of service we were about to receive. Not only was she just amazeballs but the food was scrumptious and plenty thereof. What a fabulous afternoon out. Thanks to Megan, the chef and The White Hart!

Delightful place to stay in the pretty little village of Sutton in the Pulborough area. Great if you are attending a wedding at one of the many nearby venues (like we were), or if you want to visit some great local vineyards. Lovely rooms and facilities, very clean and high quality. The restaurant menu has something for everyone. The food was excellent, not a single complaint and pretty similar to Michelin standards. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Billy (the landlord) for being so helpful and making our stay so wonderful. We said we would have to skip breakfast on our first morning as we had an early start for the wedding, so Billy had fresh pastries delivered to our rooms instead - what a thoughtful, kind gesture! We'd be happy to stay again the next time we're in the Pulborough area.

Three of us visited the White Hart on the way back from a (very hot) day in London. We sat on there outside eating area beside the river to eat. We all had the River Trout with Med veg which was excellent, I had mackerel to start, which, served with seasonal pickled veg was superb. We finished off with coffee cream brûlée which was equally delicious. We will be back. Great evening. Great staff.

Popped in for lunch today and it was fantastic. It's only my second visit but I love the place already. The put itself is stunning - paired with a lovely outside seating area with a stunning view and great staff, you really can't ask for anything else! Will definitely be coming back for more!!
