Plumas Cafe

This is a one of a kind Sierra mountain community gem. The ice cream was excellent, and the customer appreciation made you feel like one of the family. Definitely a must see if you're traveling in the area or a local resident walking down Main Street. This store isnt JUST for kids. Even the young at heart can appreciate everything this store has to offer.

We’ve gone to this toy store for years and years. It was bought by a new owner awhile ago and I adore him. The two people working the ice cream portion are delightful, kind, and everything you could want from a toy store staff. The store has every kind of toy and a good amount of arts and crafts for kids. A great selection of puzzles, too. I HIGHLY recommend!!

We wandered into this GEM...with no specific intentions. Not being near my nephews and niece's cities, I saved a ton of money, because had they lived closer...I would have purchased some of the most intelligent, exciting, cool toys ever! I was also tempted to purchase some for myself...age 67! So, after all the browsing, we found ice cream...and it was delicious. The owner and his kids handle displays and sales...even the little ones help out. MY BIGGEST SCORE was the Faber Castell RED PENCIL SHARPENER...that I use daily since that visit...sorry it took so long to write this...YOU MUST MUST MUST VISIT THIS SHOP!

Matt is always friendly and truly cares about the people that come into his shop. It's not just a loved place by my kids but my husband and I love going there. The atmosphere is welcoming and you feel like you're at good friends house. If you come to Quincy it's a must visit shop if have kids or not.
